Oops! Didn't see the part 3 :goodvibes

Just copied and pasted from the old thread

Arriving the 8th and staying through the 14th! Staying at POR. My mom's b-day is the 9th and mine the 16th ( ).
BIRTHDAYS AND FOOD & WINE! YAY!

Does anyone know when Christmas decorations go up in resorts? I just assumed that if the Christmas Party was scheduled that the decorations would be up as well

Ill update tomorrow~

sorry if I missed it :goodvibes

Just been tweeking times. I think I'm done. But who knows? :lmao:

But I was really shocked at what was still available. Either everyone with free dining hasn't gone after their ADRs yet, or attendance is down. There was still supper times for LeCellier.

NOt for 11ppl though! I am VERY limited! I remember last year me and DH were getting ADR's together in Aug for our Dec trip and we only had a few choices and forced to go to GFC but it was THE BEST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD! :thumbsup2

Just found a Chef Mickey's breakfast opening on our last day.... Thinking about snagging it but am worried bout the reviews of bad food yet good characters.... Hmmm

We have a Chef mickey's breakfast for our first MK day, 8:45am. Im really happy with the time its prefect for us. Ive never been to Chef Mickeys but we did CP lunch last time. I was not impressed. So Im guessing Chef Mickeys will be on that same level. Hopeing breakfast is better then lunch.

Ooh! I want to know an answer to this too! We're there for the beginning of the Christmas Party dates too and I know we miss some Christmas stuff like CLP and all the Santas in Epcot. But will the resort decorations be up in the beginning of Nov? Will the parks be decorated? Dying to know!!!:upsidedow

The parks are the first to get decorated then the crews move on to the resorts. The crews can just about transform the parks overnight. This in itself is a massive task. I have seen summer flowers in the ground at the resorts in the evening & by the next morning like magic, poinsettia's the week before Thanksgiving.

I just have to keep reminding myself that if I miss some of the decorations this year I am planning a 2013 December trip to see it all!

Everyone has to have the same package, but I think it's still doable. You would just have to change your ticket days to the same amount of ticket days as your friend and then add days to your ticket when you get there. There is no added fee for a second person. She would have free dining also.

Thank you!! I never would have thought of this solution myself! That's brilliant :)!!

WDW is big. First & foremost have fun. Second, don't get all stressed out because you missed something. There is no way possible to fit everything to do at WDW into a week so don't try. Best you can do is pickout the things you really want to do & try to squeeze them into your week. Grand Floridian lobby is a must at Christmas time. :lovestruc

Welcome!! :goodvibes
If you want a guide book.....Two of my favorites are The Unofficial Guide to Disney. (The 2013 version should be out in August) And the Passporter guide book.

There are 3 sites I use to help pick park days. Easywdw is one....its free and very good. TOur Guide Mike is another and its costs but worth every penny. Touring plans is great too and they cost a small fee too . On easywdw I only go to the parks that are green for my dates:thumbsup2

Thank you all for your help! I see I have some homework but won't get too stressed out about it. If we miss anything then we'll just have an excuse to go back!

Just saw what you posted about LTT last year, what time was your ADR for ? I have one for 4:30 which may change if I can get BOG. I want to catch the Castle Dream Lights Show

Our time was more around 5:30. So you would be fine. I don't think there is usually that much of a back up, at least I don't recall anything like that before. And yes, I plan to change my LTT for BOG if it comes available for our dates too. Love LTT, but HAVE to try BOG!! Good luck to you!:goodvibes

Good morning! :goodvibes

Good Morning! I've been up since 2AM, so thinking about going to bed instead of to church. I'd hate to fall asleep at church!:rotfl:

Hi, oops now I have a few questions! I was about to email my TA but then I thought I'd ask here first if that's okay :). I'm wondering if I changed my days to reflect my friend, would my TA loose a bit of her commission? I guess she would gain my friends 3 days so maybe I don't have to feel bad.

Also, I'm wondering if I would have a room only for the other days that I'm there alone, and it would be changed to a package w free dining when I got there? I'm not sure I can change my booking so easily because I had this booked for last Nov. but had to move it back a year when my dear Mom became ill :guilty:. In order to skip any charges my booking has to be more expensive than the last one, which it has been until I got free dining. Then I added a preferred room which I'm happy about :).

Hmm maybe these are all complicated questions that I need to take to my TA. She's amazing but you all are too :goodvibes!

I've switched some of my ADRs again (I blame all you people :lmao: ) but now I'm happy with the FINAL results!

Here they are (all for 5 ppl on the free DDP):
Nov. 9 - T-Rex @ 5pm
Nov. 10 - Tusker House @ 10:05am
Nov. 11 - Teppan Edo @ 1:30pm
Nov. 13 - Crystal Palace @ 12:50pm
Nov. 14 - Cape May Cafe @ 6:50pm
Nov. 15 - Coral Reef @ 1:10pm
Nov. 16 - Ohana's @ 9:40am
Nov. 16 - 1900 Park Fare @ 5:50pm
Nov. 17 - Whispering Canyon @ 4:30pm

Now if I can snag a Le Cellier lunch for Nov. 11, 14, 15 or 17 I'll drop Coral Reef and move Teppan Edo if I have to. But for now its settled. Now I just have to cancel all my extra ADRs. :)

Does anyone know of a place 2 watch a college football game? Preferably in Epcot or somewhere close! My DH &I are HUGE Alabama fans! ROLL TIDE! When we booked this trip we didn't even think about the BIG game on Nov 24th, which is Auburn (our long time, in state rival)! We NEED a place 2 watch or at least hear the big game! We may end up listening 2 it on our phones :( So if you see crazy people all decked out in our Alabama gear sporadically yelling ROLL TIDE, THAT'S US! :)
