Oops! Didn't see the part 3
Just copied and pasted from the old thread
Arriving the 8th and staying through the 14th! Staying at POR. My mom's b-day is the 9th and mine the 16th ( ).
BIRTHDAYS AND FOOD & WINE! YAY!
Does anyone know when Christmas decorations go up in resorts? I just assumed that if the Christmas Party was scheduled that the decorations would be up as well
Just been tweeking times. I think I'm done. But who knows?
But I was really shocked at what was still available. Either everyone with free dining hasn't gone after their ADRs yet, or attendance is down. There was still supper times for LeCellier.![]()
Hi guys, just found this thread and man ya'll have been busy. My DH, DS and I will be arriving on 10/31 (MNSSHP) and staying at AOA-LM until 11/6/2012. We live near Richmond, VA.
Just found a Chef Mickey's breakfast opening on our last day.... Thinking about snagging it but am worried bout the reviews of bad food yet good characters.... Hmmm

Ooh! I want to know an answer to this too! We're there for the beginning of the Christmas Party dates too and I know we miss some Christmas stuff like CLP and all the Santas in Epcot. But will the resort decorations be up in the beginning of Nov? Will the parks be decorated? Dying to know!!!![]()
The parks are the first to get decorated then the crews move on to the resorts. The crews can just about transform the parks overnight. This in itself is a massive task. I have seen summer flowers in the ground at the resorts in the evening & by the next morning like magic, poinsettia's the week before Thanksgiving.
Everyone has to have the same package, but I think it's still doable. You would just have to change your ticket days to the same amount of ticket days as your friend and then add days to your ticket when you get there. There is no added fee for a second person. She would have free dining also.
WDW is big. First & foremost have fun. Second, don't get all stressed out because you missed something. There is no way possible to fit everything to do at WDW into a week so don't try. Best you can do is pickout the things you really want to do & try to squeeze them into your week. Grand Floridian lobby is a must at Christmas time.![]()
Welcome!!
If you want a guide book.....Two of my favorites are The Unofficial Guide to Disney. (The 2013 version should be out in August) And the Passporter guide book.
There are 3 sites I use to help pick park days. Easywdw is one....its free and very good. TOur Guide Mike is another and its costs but worth every penny. Touring plans is great too and they cost a small fee too . On easywdw I only go to the parks that are green for my dates![]()
Thank you all for your help! I see I have some homework but won't get too stressed out about it. If we miss anything then we'll just have an excuse to go back!
Thank you!! I never would have thought of this solution myself! That's brilliant!!
Ooohhh, does that mean you'll get her extra dining credits once she leaves??! --Katie
Just saw what you posted about LTT last year, what time was your ADR for ? I have one for 4:30 which may change if I can get BOG. I want to catch the Castle Dream Lights Show
Good morning!![]()
