I just couldn't stand the thoughts of walking into AKL with no Christmas Tree!!!!

When do they put the tree up in AKL, roughly?

I just changed our dates!!!

I talked my DS13 into missing 2 school basketball games and marching with the band in the Christmas Parade so I could move our trip!!! (Yes, I have a "band jock")

I just couldn't stand the thoughts of walking into AKL with no Christmas Tree!!!!

Our new dates are:
November 25 - December 2

Yay! We are going those dates too! Our original dates were Nov 10th-17th BUT on a FDing hopeful whim we changed them and i am sooooo happy with our new dates! So much more Christmas stuff!

All is going very well. She gets disappointed, because no one knows where azerbaijan is. She met my friends teenager yesterday, so it was nice that she had another girl her age and not a 2 year old.

Congrats and welcome to the club!! I think we are all beginning to get more than excited!! I still have a few more things to plan but overall I'm pretty much done.

Tomorrow's the day for ADR's for BOG!! It will be complete madness I know but I plan to be up early and start dialing at 6:59 am- praying the disney gods will be with me. Have a great rest of day all and good luck to everyone calling Disney dining in the am!! May all our dreams come true

i went there and saw those bows...mine are cuter LOL but thanks now DD has a Ariel tutu!

I was not impressed with the bows either. I was how ever on etsy and found the most amazing bows!! the actual charactors made out of ribbon. I pinned them if you are on pintrest let me know I can tell you how to get to my account so you can see them.

I picked up the snow white and belle tutus for my girls today. We used a 40% off coupon for each to save a little extra cash. You can get the coupon through your smartphone if you have one!

Did not know about the smart phone coupons. I just got an Iphone a few months ago and Im just learning. I did have a coupon from the paper though.

Question to everyone...for those of us not driving, will you be using ME, if not what is your other mode of transportation to the resorts? Trying to decide if we should rent a limo or such? Hired an Escalade last time from MCO to WL and it was sooo nice to be able to find your driver, get the luggage and go!. Then took ME back afterwards. Looking for a good company to deal with.

why wouldnt you just take the ME its free! Well Free is me! LOL actually we liked it! We didnt handle our luggage they did it so we didnt have that to deal with

The only time we used it we had to wait on the bus 90 minutes for another flight to land, and it was already around 10:30pm. My husband said never again taking ME to the resort. I'm sure this was an exception but it sure left a bad taste. Also, taking a service we can now stop for a grocery stop! Don't get me wrong, I would love to take ME, but after flying for 8 hours, I just want to get there!!

This is me as well. Was trying to justify eating there for the newness/beauty, but my family just isn't interested. I suggested going for just dessert, but even that menu isn't grabbing us.

I use ME when we don't drive to Disney and it has worked out well for our family. Haven't seen where anyone has had problems so far this year. I haven't notified ME for this trip as i may change airports if SE has better prices from another airport close to me.

Also, for those looking at BOG reservations keep in mind that lunch service is actually QS, so no reservation needed for just lunch! For those having a hard time getting the family interested in the menu I suggest looking at the Croque Monsieur sandwich, which is a grilled or fried (depending on how it's prepared) ham and cheese sandwich. Lots of calories I'm sure but very yummy. The bechamel sauce is just a French cream sauce. Again, high in calories but yummy.
