Disneychic2 thanks for the welcome. We will be the ones with the double stroller, red head 8yr old and the grumpy daddy ha ha!!!!! We love Pop this will be our third stay there. I think I'll try to make a lime green mickey head with my dis name.

I'm getting excited about our trip. My wife told me last night to shut up about it because I'm driving her nuts. She's the only one I can talk to though since it's going to be a surprise trip for our girls.

We're debating on telling the girls either the week before at DD2's birthday party or just getting in the car and going and letting them figure it out when they get there. We'll be picking up DD1 from school at the end of the day and then leaving straight from there, which should be fun. Which would you do?

Looks like you've got a great plan! The only flaw may be in trying to get CS at BOG on Thanksgiving day. But, hey, worth a try, right? It would be awesome to eat there!

As for surprising the girls, I think letting them figure it out would be fun. Maybe you could make up a question and answer kind of game and give them clues. Agree that any way you tell them, you're going to have two very excited little girls!

I saw these tutu kits at Joanns I got the Ariel and because there was no Cinderella I had to get the stuff to make it my self. They are going to be a surprise. I also got a couple tiaras and some glow stick, necklaces and bracelets at the dollar store

I picked them up at Joann Fabrics today. They are made by Simplicity a company that does sewing patterns and books. You might be able to google Simplicity Princess Tutu kits and find them. They were $12.99 I think the rack of ribbons is my favorite. I wanted to buy every one but I just got the Cinderella one.

How does the Kroger Disney gift cards work for gas points?? We just got Kroger gas here, so I hope I don't sound like an idiot. Do you buy the gift card, and use it at Disney. Then points get put on your Kroger saving card? Do you have to use the Kroger Disney Gift card to pay for gas??

You can buy any gift card at Krogers and if you join their free Kroger shopper card program, you get points towards gas at Kroger or Shell gas stations. usually 2x amount of gift card but they run specials were you get 4x (ex. $25 Disney gift card gets me 100 pt that will get me .10 cents off gas.

Sorry just noticed the part about using cards to buy gas. No the cards are for Disney only, they have others, etc
Kohls, Southwest, Applebee, etc. Best Disney value is use your Disney Visa to buy Disney cards and get Disney and Kroger points!

Put me in this sad club too... Summer is over! I go back to work on Monday for teacher work week, kids come back next Monday! Can't believe ten weeks are gone already! Feels like just yesterday it was June 8th!!!

Another teacher here. We go back to work on Monday for a week of professional days and then the kds start the following week. Where did summer go? I can't believe it is pretty much over. We are trying to enjoy the last weekend together as a family.

I've been completely MIA, work has been crazy!!! Stopping by to do the double digit dance/14 week celebration!!!

Very stressed about BOG Monday, can only hold for about 1 hour due to work meetings, I've got DH on backup, but, well, we'll see how that goes.....

Is there an Added-A-Day-Twice club? LOL Well, I lost my mind and decided we could use another day on top of our existing plans, so we're now checking in 11/1 and checking out 11/12. AoA-LM is fully booked that last night. So I went even crazier and booked a room-only night in a Cars suite. Still hoping for LM, but DS would love it if we kept the suite, even for a night... And at 75 days at counting, I paid off a third of our trip today, with the rest getting paid off this coming week!

I'm trying to figure out how long before the her showtime do we need to be in that area. I heard 20 mins. That just seems like a long time to stand there and wait for a show to start when we could be riding something else. But I don't want to show up 5 mins before the show and find out they gave her spot to someone else.

I think they told us ~20 minutes, which I thought was more than needed. They should tell you when to be back. It was so much more low-key than the original format, I wouldn't want to get back late and have them miss it because they were one of 20 kids instead of the main pick. But if it's sunny, make sure you have a hat or something...
