November 2012 Trip planners #4~almost Disney time! Everyone welcome!

20 more days! I am very excited that I might get a chance to try our the new Ariel ride. That is exciting news. Wishing for a possible Test Travk soft opening is probably too much for me to ask for, but a girl can dream, right?

So we got a call last night from our good friend who owns timeshare in Orlando. She knows we are going in Nov. and said she has one more week she has to use before February, but she can't go. She asked if we wanted to use it! So we might be going for 3 weeks now!!! Our only roadblock is the price for the car rental. We are getting pretty high prices right now. If we could get a reasonable price we will book the extra week! Crossing my fingers we can extend it! If a one has any car rental tips please let me know! 38 more days for us!

OMG! OMG!! All the new videos and pictures are simply outstanding, I am so excited I can hardly focus on anything else lately!!:banana:
We are at 31 days and counting....I hope the majority of the new FL is done I see from the video there is still quite a bit more work they are doing. Is that primarily the seven dwarfs mine??? What can I expect to be open for us we will be there from 14-28th....with part of that time also in Universal but only a few days there....I just want to go hop on a plane right now, lol!!!!!!!!

I am so upset now b/c our 8:10am ADR at CP is no longer pre RD.

Does anyone know what's the earliest they would let us in the park for our ADR. The whole point of this ADR is to see main street with very few people and get some nice pictures with the castle.

Also, now we would be losing a whole hour of park time with low crowds.

Be there early, no later than 7:30 or 7:40 and you should still get what you want.....a few minutes on an empty Main Street. We have the same problem every December with hours changes. Once we let the early ADR go. Another time we kept it (our BBB reservation). They let us in ahead of the crowd around 7:50 and we got some photos that were worth their weight in gold. Don't despair, but don't be late either or you WILL be going in with the masses.

Our CRT ressie is no longer pre-rope drop, either

Are these accurate? No changes on the Disney site?

Yes, these are accurate. Disney updates these first as these files are easier to update then the Disney website. The Disney website usually follows behind though by about 2 weeks...then you will see the update there also.

Thanks, that's we plan to do now.

So with the updated hours I see they added another fantasmic show.

We have the package booked.

So do we just pick which time we want or are we assigned a time?

Looks like bad news for late October-early November folks. Little chance of soft openings of the FLE between 10/20 and 11/5 unless you are a CM, D23 member, AP holder, or DVC owner. We are not counting on seeing soft openings during our 11/1-11/6 trip, but if we happen to luck out and get to see the new area, I will consider it an extra special bit of Disney magic.

I am excited about extended hours during November, though... :goodvibes

I wonder why they added random 8am park openings for MK. I could see if it was Thanksgiving week, but they seem kind of randomly added.

So excited it is getting closer!:cheer2: Yesterday I bought some really cute Disney Christmas window clings at Hobby Lobby. Still trying my hardest not to tell the kids we are going...it is so hard.

So does this mean? Will regular people like us who are not DVC, AP, etc, be able to go in to the areas in early November?

That would be so cool. Anyone know with the soft opening, if it is everyone, will Be Our Guest be opening more reservations earlier?
