This is our schedule so far, I'm sure it will change depending on park hours, MVMCP days, and ADR changes. This will be our first trip so I think we will make our ADRs then plan park days around that (except for MVMCP and Fantasmic). Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated.

Sunday ~ Stay off property hopefully at a DTD hotel and visit there. Maybe dinner at T-Rex

Monday ~ Check into POR and visit Epcot for the day
QS Lunch or Coral Reef??? / Garden Grill Dinner

Tuesday ~ Hang around resort in morning then head to MK
QS Lunch / Tony's Town Square Dinner
MVMCP:santa:

Wednesday ~ Hollywood Studios (Try to get in Fantasmic & Osbourne Lights)
Sci Fi Lunch / POR Food Court Dinner (trying for early night)

Thursday ~ Animal Kingdom
Early TH Breakfast / Hoop-Dee-Doo Dinner

Friday ~ Check out of POR and head to MK
Early CP Breakfast / QS Lunch
Head back to DTD hotel for the night / Maybe DTD Dinner???

Saturday ~ Head home:sad2:

Looks good but a few questions: If you are only staying at POR for 4 nights and you are doing the regular dining plan, you will only have 4 dinner credits so if u end up booking Hoop-dee-doo (which is 2 TS credits) and Coral reef, you are going to have to pay oop correct? Another question: not to be mean so dont take offense, Why are you switching to a DTD hotel? is the POR booked? What I mean to say-I have a hard time putting things nicely, so please dont be mad. I am blunt. DTD is only about a 10-15 min bus ride, like all the parks. I am not sure it would make the most sense. I am not trying to tell you how to re-arrange your plan, but maybe we can figure out a better alternative. I know its your first time(and believe me, I thought DTD was far away lol I scheduled an hour to get there lol) DOnt forget about tips! They are automatically added to your bill. I figured about $20/TS meal for tips thinking I'd have some left over, nope they were all $19-$21 but atleast I had it budgeted!

Sunday ~ Stay off property hopefully at a DTD hotel and visit there. Maybe dinner at T-RexYou can stay at POR and still visit-we went almost every night. I am chosing T-Rex for dinner also. Its not on the dining plan so this would be a pay out of pocket

Monday ~ Check into POR and visit Epcot for the day
QS Lunch or Coral Reef??? / Garden Grill Dinner If you wanna do both of these ressies in one day, it would work if you use your QS credit for breakfast

Tuesday ~ Hang around resort in morning then head to MK
QS Lunch / Tony's Town Square Dinner Ive never eaten at Tony's, we have always done 1900 Park fare so I cant comment on this but should be good!
MVMCP:santa:

Wednesday ~ Hollywood Studios (Try to get in Fantasmic & Osbourne Lights)
Sci Fi Lunch / POR Food Court Dinner (trying for early night)Osbourne lights run starting at 6pm and every 15 or 45 min i believe. I know it had a 5 lol as far as lunch at Sci-Fi thats a good choice! We are eating there this trip

Thursday ~ Animal Kingdom
Early TH Breakfast / Hoop-Dee-Doo Dinner TH breakfast sounds fun! Hoop dee doo is 2 credits so if you have the dining plan, you can pay OOP or use 2 of your credits. Either way, you will be paying oop for 2 meals or this meal. Not sure which is cheaper.

Friday ~ Check out of POR and head to MK
Early CP Breakfast / QS Lunch
Head back to DTD hotel for the night / Maybe DTD Dinner??? Here, there are only a few restuarants that take the DDP. Unless you upgrade to Deluxe Dining plan, then it should work. Not trying to tell you what to do, just trying to save you some moola! :cloud9: Again, can you stay at POR? I dont wanna be to forward(I UNDERSTAND-believe me if youve read the thread lol I have had my share of financial issues this last couple months) if it is cost, I do understand, let me know if I can be of more help. Sorry again for being forward and sorry its so long

Saturday ~ Head home:sad2:(

I finished what I'm sure will be the first draft of our schedule. We are driving from North Texas and plan on arriving in the Orlando area late on Sunday. Since we are going to take our time and arrive late on Sunday, my DH doesn't want to check into a WDW resort unitl Monday. We'll get up early Monday morning and check into the Cabins at FW.
Day 1, Monday, Check into cabins at FW
Lunch: Whispering Canyon, to get my WL fix
Go to DHS and dinner at Mama Melrose's (per DH)
Day 2, Tuesday, Joey's 15th bday
8:00 breakfast at CRT
Head to Epcot
Lunch: Teppan Edo, then depending on how much we get done that morning, maybe back to the cabin for a nap.
Dinner: 'Ohana

Lunch: Yak & Yeti
Dinner: Jiko
Day 4, Thursday, MK
Breakfast: Kona
Lunch: Liberty Tree Tavern
Dinner: Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review
Day 5, Friday, Epcot
Lunch: Biergarten (a family fav and must do)
Dinner: Le Cellier
Day 6, Saturday Check out of FWC, not sure what park we'll end up at
Lunch: Grand Floridian Cafe (Basically just using this ADR as a reason to get to the GF, so I can see the Ginberbread house. This will be the Saturday before Thanksgiving so it will hopefully be up by then.)
Dinner: Ragland Road (an excuse to get to DTD, so I can do some shopping)
Then we'll either get a few hours closer to home, or check into a cheap Orlando hotel for the night, so we can check into a Uni resort the next day.

I am guessing you have the delux dining plan? Do you find it worth it? Too much food? I was debating on it. I am not sure with 2 smaller children if its worth it

My turn! This schedule is based on Nov 2011 calendar, avoiding F&W, EMH, & MVMCP. Although, I may change my mind about attending MVMCP. I don't have all ADRs thought out yet. This will be the longest trip we've done yet & DH isn't too thrilled about it.

Arrive late Fri night at AKL CL- sleep

Sat- spend day with friends at resort, then possibly DTD or MK evening EMH

Sun- AK (CL safari early AM), dinner at Boma

Mon- Epcot

Tues- HS with Fantasmic dinner pkg at Brown Derby

Wed- MK, lunch at LLT

Thurs- Epcot, dinner Le Cellier

Fri- HS, spend evening at resort

Sat- MK, possible dinner at Artist Point

Sun- spend time at resort, then take ME to MCO

I am actually hoping for a room discount instead of FD. Since we are staying CL, we won't need as many ADRs as we usually do.

I would do MVMCP on Wednesday. I would assume more locals would go to it on Fridays since the kids don't have school the next day. It may not make a difference though, & may just be in my head.

We are doing the DlxDDP. I don't know if it's too much, b/c we've never done a DDP before. We have several 2 credit meals & are only eating 3 meals on 2 days. I hope that doing it this way, it won't be too much food. Since our DSs are over 10 (Disney adults) I think it will be worth it. The 2 snack credits will probably be used for treats for family that couldn't come or snacks for the drive home. I don't plan on using many in the parks, but for maybe a Mickey bar....or Dole Whip.....or that carrot cake cookie thing at DHS....or the caramel shop in Epcot. Oh heck, I think I'm fooling myself, we may use them all. The theme for this trip may be "the feather and bucket" trip. Lol

We are doing Friday this trip only because thats the only day its offered. I think I may shoot for wednesday night :) thanks!

This is a tentative schedule that will probably change one 100 times before we go. Depending on how we travel (car, car train, fly) our arrival and leave day may be extended.

Black Friday - MK, MSEP, Wishes - Extra Family with us

Saturday - Epcot, Candlelight procession - Extra Family with us

Sunday - Free

Monday - Hollywood Studios

Tuesday - AK, MVMCP

Wednesday - Free

Thursday - Epcot, Autumn's 5th birthday

Friday - HS

Saturday - Breakfast at O'hana's/ head out!

I know my planning doesn't seem like the norm but I was a TGM member in the past and implement his touring advice. We had an amazing vacation thanks to his touring advice.

Our list of TS so far is Akershus, Chef Mickeys, Whispering Canyon Cafe, O'hana's, and 1900 Park Fare. DH and I really like Reglan Road but I need to find out when the Irish dancers are there. It might be too late for our girls.

Here is our tenative schedule (It will be DH, me, my younger sister (who has no kids) and my two little boys) We start driving on Wednesday afternoon after school/work --we will stop somewhere around Jacksonville, FL and get a hotel room for the night and get up pretty early around 5:30 and head towards Orlando.

11/8 (Thursday)-check into POFQ and then head to MK
-QS-Columbia Harbor House (dinner)

11/9 (Friday)-Epcot
QS-Tangerine Cafe (lunch)
TS-Ankerhaus (dinner)

TS- Tusker House (breakfast)

11/13-check out and drive back

Wow........That's all I have to say. :rotfl:Ya'll have been very busy with the plans. I haven't been around much lately because the Dis has been soooooooo slooooooow. :confused3 It has been hard to even log on.

Oooh, I love reading everyone's schedules! I learn things (for instance, I didn't know about "Be Our Guest" and I'm assuming this is a planned restaurant in the new Fantasyland renovation, so I definitely want to get more info on this, and I never would have thought about trying the CS at POR for Thanksgiving), so now I have other options to consider...
We'll be coming from a couple of nights at Universal, and am hoping to stay at the YC. But, I'm also looking into renting points at BWV, BCV, or OKW, or possibly even the Swan or Dolphin (really want to stay at YC, but price may be a factor!)
Here's my first draft, assuming we're at the YC (or an Epcot resort):
Sun, the 18th: transfer from Universal, arriving 4:00p-ish, Disney Quest for a couple of hours and dinner at DTD or a Boardwalk-area restaurant
Mon, the 19th: MK, with an early-entry reservation for CP (a family must-do), and dinner at Columbia Harbor House
Tues, the 20th: HS, with a late lunch at 50's (another family must-do), Fantasmic, and closing down the place with the Osborne Lights (our first time)
Wed, the 21st: AKL for the morning, with quick brkfst at Pizzafari, then transfer to Epcot for a late lunch at Chef de France, and I'm considering moving over to MK for a Wishes dessert party and closing down MK
Thanksgiving: DTD/DQ, with dinner undecided, and watching Illuminations from resort area/BW area
Fri: Epcot day, late lunch at Le Cellier/early Candlelight Processional (unless I don't like the narrator),and then transfer to MK for Wishes, as I want that to be the last thing I see before we leave (the next day)
Sat: DTD for more DQ and a late flight home
I am also considering adding another day to our trip so that my guys can do the Aqua Seas tour at Epcot...
I'm pondering having a customized itinerary done for $40 (can't remember the website, but I read about it here on the DISboards). This will be my fourth trip, so I feel fairly confident of my ability, but we've never visited for this long over a holiday, so that is scaring me a bit...

11/13-check out and drive back
TS-1900 Park Fare
You check out day is my DS's 15th bday.

The Liberty Tavern lunch may turn into a lunch at Be Our Guest, depending on what we hear between now and our 180+ out day. I hate to go ahead and plan on eating somewhere when I don't have an opening date for.
Also, I noticed that your in Arlington. You're not far from us. We live in Justin. If you don't know where that is, it's between Fort Worth and Denton going up 35. If you know anything about NASCAR and know where the Texas Motor Speedway is, we can see that from our front door.

Does anyone know when the Beast's castle will be open and when Be Our Guest will open? TIA

Yes we have the DxDP so the only OOP would be Sunday dinner. The reason for us staying at a DTD hotel is because we are driving in and I'm not sure what time we will be arriving. We wanted to be close to WDW so we could check in and get our KTTW card and head to the park early. By staying at DTD on the arrival and departure days we will probably save around $100 each day because we are staying Preferred at POR. The DxDP will probably work best for my family because I want to do at least one maybe two TS meals a day and between my husband and two teenage boys I'm sure ALL our credits will be used. A couple of breakfasts we plan on using snack credits at Riverside Mill just to get them through until lunch.popcorn::
