Hooray! I've found you! More Disney obsessed planners like me. :yay: :cheer2: I read all 32 pages of this thread today and you all are great. You had me a little worried at the begining with all the talk about Jersey week but so far the list doesn't look to bad for that week. So either the Jersey people aren't early planners, aren't in the Dis, or I (fingers crossed) might luck out it won't be too busy.

I swear I'm going to drive my friends, family, and co-workers completely insane with my Disney talk. I've been planning this trip since we got back from our last trip in Oct '10. I started by booking our first cruise on the Dream from the 8th - 11th and then I started trying to figure out how many days we wanted in WDW. Also how many days I could justify pulling my kids out of school.

Oh the food. It might be one of the key reasons I plan a Disney trip. We are really hoping for FD. Our plan is to book and pay the DP and then if we get lucky enough to get FD use the savings to upgrade to the DxDP.

Glad to have found this thread and can't wait to plan with you all!

:welcome: ! Added you to the list. :santa:

Congratulations on the weight loss!!!!!!! party:party:

Now for the days.....There are so many creative people on that board. You should check them out. My big binder is set up by dividers which I made and laminated. I used stick on tabs and a Disney font for the labels. To give you an idea the first divider is, "The Begining" It has a page for vacation details, A Drivin to Disney page, Packing list page, (okay a few pages. :rotfl:) Any emails from Disney-:rotfl:Resort info. Paid info. Etc. I'll try to get some pics posted later. I'm re-working the binder. But it is just a catch all for any info I gather for each trip. I take the binder to Disney. But I do not carry it into the parks. I do something else for that. The binder is growning because I kee addng with each trip. Like this trip will add on POFQ. This is our first stay there. It just keeps growing and taking on more of me.

This thread may interest you. There are pictures of a really awesome binder on page 2. She used an agenda to make hers. If I'm not mistaking she wanted to carry hers in the parks. That doesn't work for us. And we really don't need it. That is why I made the small photobook I told you about a while back. (can post pics of that as well.) I found a nice black crossover bag that my hubby will carry. :goodvibes:lovestruc So we go light. :thumbsup2 And we have been enough that alot of info just isn't needed. I do carry ADR info. And parade, fireworks info. That kind of thing.

Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes

I know we are all busy planning our 2012 trips....... But Survivor starts tonight!! :woohoo:

I don't watch Survivor. I did for the first 2 seasons, I think, but not since then.

Will have to check that out. We go light almost the exact same way you do except my crossover bag is hot pink and DH will NOT carry it! :rotfl:

DD and I are delighting in putting our little stickers on each day of our countdown planners! And we will delight in it for 429 more days until we are there!!!:rotfl2:

We do not like eating at Hollywood Studios. On our 2 days there, we are going to eat at Cape May at Beach Club (we loooooove it!) and Captain's Grill at Yacht Club (this one's new for us, but we hear good things about it). We'll take the boat from DHS to those 2 resorts. Worked out great last year.

At Epcot, we love Tutto Italia, Coral Reef and Le Cellier (but we ARE steak eaters) Haven't tried Les Chefs, but that one sounds intriguing to me. Might try the counter service in France this time. For counter service, DH and I loooove Tangierine Cafe and we all like Sommerfest.

Have fun deciding.:goodvibes

I hadn't thought about going over the Beach Club or Board Walk from HS. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to give it some thought.

The Hoop Dee Doo Revue is very funny! We were laughing till our sides ached. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was plentiful also. BUT, the journey to get to campsite took forever. Of course, we were taking Disney transportation. I suppose if you're planning to drive, it shouldn't be much of an issue. Go try it!! I highly recommend HDHR! :thumbsup2

Glad to hear it. My kids will be 7 and 4 when we go so I think they'd enjoy it.

We really like Sci-Fi. The food has always been good (Not great, but a strong good:thumbsup2) the atmosphere is what makes it fun. :3dglasses As a matter of fact we have a ressie to eat there on this trip.

That's one I have been thinking about.

Congratulations on the weight loss! That's awesome!! I made a binder too. I had my kids draw pictures for each divider, and put everything in it. Donatalie has some great things in her photo share.

WELCOME to all the newcomers!!! :cheer2:

mommyof3princess27,
Congratulations on the weight loss! Wow! You've exceeded your goal! And a loy earlier too!

After reading ever just everyone's dining choices, I'm now leaning towards taking up FD IF Disney does indeed offer it for Nov 2012. I am worried about the amount of food we'll be facing each day though. It's just overwhelming! We don't want to over-eat just because there's FD!! HELP!!!

Well thats why wae do mostly buffetts because DH eats more than I do, so we dont actually waste food. As for the other ressies, we do a QS for breakfast and then a sit down dinner. I think you would eat that a day. If the meal at dinner is still too much, just dont eat it all but at Coral Reef last year, I got the steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. I ate half the steak and half the potatoes and the green beans, that was enough! I usually dont even order the dessert! I guess its a waste since techniqually I already paid but if its FD-I would def do it!;)

:thumbsup2 I agree.

I have had a very exhausting week! I cant wait til its over! I did make some planner pages today and if I knew how to upload them I would lol. Well on to exercise!

I just posted this in another thread that I hang out in. And I thought that ya'll might enjoy following it as well. Especially snce we are going to get to see at least a part of it next year. :woohoo:

That thread is very cool; I really enjoyed looking at it. Only problem is, now I desperately want to eat at Be Our Guest! Do you think it will be open then? Late 2012 is awfully vague of them. Would they open up ADRs sooner for it? LOL, now I have something ELSE to obsess over! :lmao:

My day off this week was today instead of tomorrow. Usually, my week is over now, but unfortunately I have to go tomorrow. Blech! I'm sorry you've had an exhausting week. Hopefully the next will be much better.

We did the deluxe plan last year, and I just told myself I was not going to overeat and would stop when I was full. We had a character meal every morning, and ADRs every night. Most days we weren't hungry for lunch and would just got a snack. We did several 2 credit meals to make up for it, and traded the rest for snacks before we left for home. DH felt like we got our money's worth so he was happy. I lost 5 pounds (and ate everything I wanted) so I was happy! :rotfl:

Has anyone every done BBB? I am thinking about doing it for our Nov trip for all the little girls and just wanted to know if anyone has ever had a hard time getting an appointment? I am nervous that since I will have 4 girls doing this, itll be hard! I am still not sure which day I want to do this...in DTD on the first day, in MK on the second day? any ideas?
