We are planning on going to White Plains on Sunday and staying over night at La Quinta then taking the shuttle in the morning, parking at the hotel our flight out is at 6:30am.
The F&W Festival runs until the 14th, can't wait we have never been to it before, also MVMCP is on the 8th, 11th and 12th will be going to that on the 8th, for the 1st time....now if they just start the OL early this year too, this could be the best vacation ever

The La Quinta is a great option and you can park there for $10/day even if you're not staying there!

We're going November 10-20 with ressies for the Poly using the 40% off "white rabbit" pin. For our family of 5 at the Poly, this discount is better than FD, but I'm keeping my eye out to see what is offered, just in case

Yeah well for a 6:30 flight thats totally a no brainer!!! We don't leave until late afternoon though so it would be silly to stay over! I had just recently found out about the La Quinta parking and it worked out so well!

We always take an early morning flight, except for last year when Ddil did the ressies and chose the mid-day flight. I Read your 2009 TR , it brought back such memories of the year we went during late August for my sons B-day, those downpours can really be something DH had been against going in August but after that year between the rain, heat and humidity, we all decided Never Again in August

Eek! At 6:30 am, I'd def. spend the night before! Even if you are flying out on a weekend, no need to risk a delay off the Merritt. One accident on the Merritt can back up for miles...

That's great that F&W goes until the 14th! We didn't do MVMCP on our last trip because my girls were just too young to make it up that late.

Had to cancel our July trip because of our daughters cheerleading camp schedule but we rebooked for November 19-28th . Not to sad because now we get to go to MVMCP! Still watching and wishing for free dining or some other discount though!

Oh and now this day is made too! Thanks I had forgotten about the phone thing, he always loses something, but we always find it! It's an adventure!

Huh, I went back to look at my TR and there were 2 days missing. I had the whole thing saved on my computer as a word file so I added them, I wonder though whether they were once there and disappeared or whether I just forgot to post two days!!!???

My DH is the same way the year we went to Vegas and DL had to be the worst, we got to Vegas and DH did not have the main credit card he had planned on using , luckly he has others, so no biggie cancel that card, then in DL he walks out of a mens room reaches in his pocket to pull out his phone to call DS so we can meet up with him and drops it was a flip phone that sorta exploded on inpact I still had mine so all was good. When we got back to Ct. and picked up our car at the hotel, guess what? There lies the "lost" credit card on the dash board, half melted from lying in the sun for a week.

CM also said it is possible my entire stay (Tgiving week) could qualify for the code. It sounds like they have some empty rooms with all views and CL. Sure helps the pocketbook and will give my grandsons lots of wonderful memories!

Sadly, its only good until the 24th. I wish it extended into the remainder of the week. We are hoping for something that goes threw the week, but right now it looks like the 24-27th are going to be blacked out.

That's the way it stands now, but I am hoping they will cover. Still waiting on THV to book that with the pin. I'm probably spending more now than I did before!
