Ooooh that second one REALLY makes me wanna cruise NOW!!! :thumbsup2

Uh oh....we're 7. I don't want to hear smoochers all night through those thin cabin walls!

LOL, you catch on fast :lmao:

we cant make any promises.:rolleyes1popcorn::

Lets just say Nancy and Chuck had the cabin next to us on our last cruise...but this time they made sure they booked a cabin all the way on the other side of the ship away from us.:rolleyes1:upsidedow

Geez, can you blame them with all that hanky panky goin' on??? :rotfl::rotfl2:

Okay, since you brought it up: talk to me about Palo. I *really* want to have brunch, and I'd love to try Tea as well, but I really don't think we need to have dinner there....

Don't hurt me. I'm new here.

What about the shore excursions? - can you veterans give a newbie some recommendations?

First of all, :welcome: to the DIS and the 11/2 thread. :beach:

This will be our 4th time on the Eastern Itinerary but we haven't taken too many excursions. In St Martin, we loved the Island Tour and Explorer Cruise. It was a bus tour of the Dutch side and then a boat trip to the French side. On the the boat ride (Explorer Cruise) we were served Rum Punch and other beverages. As soon as we got off the boat we were all paraded as a group to one of the shops in town. Once they dropped us off there, we were on our own. After a couple hours, we were returned back to our ship. We loved this excursion!!

In St Thomas, we've taken the open air taxis that you can find all over the island as you get off the ship. Those taxis took you on a tour of the island too. We've done this twice already and it was another thing we really enjoyed. :)

Hope this helps a bit. :thumbsup2

LOL, Mike!

It's 100 degrees here in central Indiana as well (predicting 102 for tomorrow!).... And it is ALWAYS time for a Disney vacation!

I'm already thinking about FE gifts... And I'll have to make a fish extender. DH is an architect so it may have to be something architecturally correct.

The only ship that does High Tea any more is the Wonder and it stops in August. :sad1:

As for excursions...

We normally do our own stuff. Both are quick taxis into the main part of town. I think the only excursion we've done is the Screaming Eagle in St Thomas. We usually take a taxi to a nice beach and let our little girl play in the sand for a few hours.

I personally steer clear of any Disney excursions because I hate crowds and you can get something cheaper and more intimate (Don't even go there, Dawg! ;)) if you book it on your own.

Just make sure you leave LOTS of time to get back to the ship, like a couple hours if you can because you never know what can happen

I cant help it Robin finds me so irresistible.

Must be the scar :p

Take care of that luggage Robin, i have a bad heart.;);)

Funny, I have a similar pic from back in 2005 :scratchin

I am torturing myself...been looking at Disney Food Porn all day and it is just killing me not to be going back until next year

No one has started a roll call and since LadyBug23 started this thread, we were hoping she would edit her first post to include a roll call for us. :flower3:

Okay, I'm going to take it on myself to start the role call. Over the next couple of days, I'll put together a role call based on "handles". If your post includes who's coming, I'll add that to the back of your handle. PM me if you didn't specify and you want the info included. If you want to get a head of me, just add your name to the list I've started and repost. Here goes. I'll start with my "handle" and we'll see how quickly this becomes current.

The CMs were waiting at their stations for the Stingray excursion to begin. We were divided up in small groups and told which station to go to. My nieces had a blast feeding and touching the stingrays after they got over their fear.

We'd hold the food on the black Mickey target and the stingray would swim up the ramp and eat the food out of your fingers then swim out the other side.

Wow! My son loves stingrays, so thinking this may be a good excursion for him.
Do you feel it was well organized and worth the price? Thanks!

We enjoyed it and plan on doing it with my nephew and niece. The groups per station were small our station only had the four of us. They also give you quite a bit of time to swim with the stingrays on your own. I don't remember the price, but I think it was reasonable.

Are we already talking FE's? Do we want to start that list this soon? If so, I'm game! But who will spear head this one?
