November 2, 2013 - Disney Fantasy 7 night Eastern - Cruise Meet

Hey underdog! I read your magic trip report and saw you stayed at residence inn. We were thinking of doing the same the day before this cruise. Last time we stayed at mco Hyatt and was very disappointed with the room for the price! I like the idea of rental car so we can go have dinner as you did, but is there a drop off place for rental at port?

Ok after I read a little further I see you take a shuttle from rental car place to port. How crazy is this? Not too bad? How did you get number 2? That's pretty good!

I forgot to mention dh and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary! Also I forgot to mention my mother and mother in law will also be joining us on this cruise as well as our neighbors and their ds 9 and dd 13 at time of sailing.

we got there as soon as the car rental opened so it went really smooth...

I'd like to say i used my "boyish charms" to get the #2 boarding pass..but i think it was just because we were in the terminal so early.

Been way too busy to be on the boards but still looking forward to this cruise. We are building a house and moving in 4 1/2 weeks. We booked a WDW trip for this Nov and have a cruise on the Dream booked for Jan 2013. This one seems so far away. But we are so looking forward to sailing on the Fantasy with y'all.

We always stay at the CIS Port Canaveral the night before the cruise. We rent a car from MCO to port. DH drops me and the luggage at the port then takes the shuttle. Works well for us and I highly recommend the CIS.

Well, we are officially out. I moved this cruise to a new date last night. Pretty sure we are going to do a land/sea vacation instead! (We did a 7 night cruise vacation this year and decided we want to do a land trip next year). Hopefully someday we will get on the Fantasy! Enjoy all!

... we may be moving to a different cruise date as well. Looks like the November 16 sail date will be required for our friends to avoid a conflict with a family wedding.

That said, I'm still here until we make it official (though we're not yet booked at all even for this cruise.)

And by the way, no messing up the ship if we're going to be sailing on her two weeks later... behave yoruselves!

at this rate if i keep posting we'll have the entire ship all to ourselves!

we are having a GREAT summer...however we've kind of been wishing it would go faster as we have a WDW trip planned in Sept.

mucho thanks to Nancy for luring us into Palo for brunch on our last cruise! We NEVER would have gone there without her suggestion.

Found that you CAN indeed get plain food for an average dude like me there.

The CMs were waiting at their stations for the Stingray excursion to begin. We were divided up in small groups and told which station to go to. My nieces had a blast feeding and touching the stingrays after they got over their fear.

We'd hold the food on the black Mickey target and the stingray would swim up the ramp and eat the food out of your fingers then swim out the other side.
