Willie-

Chuck and I plan to make reservations for Palo brunch on the first sea day as well. There will be 3 of us (my college roommate is traveling w/ us).

We also plan on going on the noon Fury in Cozumel.

We will also try to book parasailing on the first CC day.

My roommate and I will probably go to the wine tasting and Chuck to the beer tasting.

Unfortunately, we need to wait for the 90 day mark to book b/c we did not book the REAS package.

Lampskie--those pictures of the Ron Bon Jovis are scary!! We may need to see your live performance this year.

Lisa

Help! We're at the 105 day mark TODAY for the REAS and are unable to book anything! It says we need 105 days. HELLO! According to my countdown, we're sailing 105 days from today. Has anyone been able to book? I'm panicking :scared: The REAS payment is already shown paid in our confirmation. :confused3

Thanks!

Priscilla

Maybe I spoke to soon, I guess it's Monday, and I'm even more embarrassed  after reading the post which said Monday. I guess I'm not to eager, huh? :cool1:

uhmmm Lamps, the Bons may win if you become a GOGO, I am sure you can already snap your fingers 3 times in a Z motion and shake your head and A@* in different directions and say :earseek: "YOU GO GIRLFRIEND!"

Hey Doogie- next time don't step into the camera shot! I can't see my gorgeous self behind your hair!

Ron, do you mean this one? I nned your email address to send it to ya.

I will be at Lake Ford bass fishing, drinking beer, playing poker and telling lies til Monday. The older I get, the better I was.

For all you health concious peeps here......I'll never be sick :rotfl2:

How To Avoid The Flu
Eat right! Make sure you get your daily dose of fruits and veggies.
Take your vitamins and bump up your vitamin C.
Get plenty of exercise because exercise helps build your immune system.
Walk for at least an hour a day, go for a swim,
take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc.
Wash your hands often. If you can't wash them,
keep a bottle of antibacterial stuff around.
Get lots of fresh air. Open windows whenever possible.
Get plenty of rest.
Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can.
OR Take the doctor's office approach.
Think about it...
When you go for a shot, what do they do first?
Clean your arm with alcohol!
Why?
Because alcohol kills germs.
So ...
I walk to the liquor store. (exercise )
I put lime in my Corona...(fruit)
Celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies)
Drink outdoors on the bar patio..(fresh air)
Tell jokes, laugh..(eliminate stress)
Then pass out. (rest)
The way I see it...
If you keep your alcohol levels up,
flu germs can't get you!!!!
My grandmother always said, "A shot in the glass
is better than a shot in the a#%!"

Ah, Ron...my day is just getting better! :maleficen
I just found out who the narrators will be for the Candlelight Processional for our trip, and then I come lurking on this thread to find your "Helpful Healthy Hints".... :rotfl2: You are absolutely one of the funniest guys I know...all those Easter bunnies are in for the best cruise of their lives with you and the rest of the Turkeys onboard! I will be cruising the DIS that week just to read your reports from the ship...I can only imagine some of the stories! :rotfl:

Ya'll have a very magical weekend!

By my calculation the 90 day mark should be August 21st. Who should be able to book Palo, Excursions, Flounders, etc.?

It is my understanding that Cat 1, 2, 3 and anyone prior cruisers (CC members) should be able to book online. Is that correct?

Are we gonna "DIS Group" and take over the Fury Cat at Cozumel? The noon trip?

Hey all!

Again this will be our first cruise and we're counting on our group for guidance... I did book REAS, however, I won't be able to pay off the cruise until next Friday... oh the way things work... but I too am wondering what we are doing!!! I guess I could do the same -- book my stuff ... like the noon Fury Cat and then change if it comes to that???

Did the T-Shirts go out the window??? It's coming quicker than my waistline would like to think :rotfl:

Getting very excited! What's everyone going to do??

Sherri

Did the T-Shirts go out the window??? It's coming quicker than my waistline would like to think
aaaah Sherri I hear ya.............. still hoping that shirts/buttons are a go! I was thinking that folks are still just "playing outdoors" and once we are past Labor Day, reality will hit that it is time to get that t-shirt designed and ordered :teeth:

I have been trying to get thoughts together about a door sign, but nothing yet - just too humid and hot for the creative juices to be activated

So in Cincinnati...can someone send us some rain. my lawn yells at me evertime i walk on it! it is scorched!

I am trying to send that rain your way - it's raining in Dayton as I type ~ I said "go south...go south" Did I do a good job in directing it your way??? I was just out the door for my Sat walk when the rains came forth ~ no complaining from me, our yard is begging for relief.

Gotta date with the treadmill - I have put it off long enough :wave2:

AlreadyexcitedGrammy and Scorpio1112-We hope the shirts are a go too.I am sure everyone is just busy this summer. We don't have the reas package. We are definitely going to do brunch at Palo's.We enjoyed it so much in December when we did it.DH and I enjoy biking at castaway cay,so we definitely will be doing that both stops on the island. We also enjoy the wine tasting,so we are doing that.

ICEMANPAD,ohMom and WMILLER86-What time are you all doing the wine tasting? Can we join you all?I wonder if we can book that August 21 also as we plan on doing it as well.

Scorpio1112-Lisa,it is so exciting that this is your first cruise.I remember when we cruised DCL the first time a couple years back. Now,we are HOOKED.We will probably book online as to what dates we are still trying to decided the 10 and 11 itinerary on the Disney Wonder sound mighty tempting.

LAMPSKIES-You make sure to let us know when you are going back onstage on this cruise as we wouldn't miss it for the world!

Have a great Saturdayeveryone!
Maria

AEG.....Well, some rain is better than no rain
we had a decent rain this morning but nothing yesterday
it stayed north of us, but the temperature feels good!

So what is the talk about T shirts, count us in for five
The beach party was fun last year, the snorkeling was awful.
The free beer was even better.
I am sure i will "forget" again this year!

I did it! I did it! :Pinkbounc

I've booked Palo and couples massage for our REAS package!

We're dining at Palo Sunday evening at 6:00. (Yes, 'double-dipping' but never want to miss any surprises in the dining rooms. :earsgirl: )

Doing the brunch Thursday at 11:30 (if I do both Palos early into the cruise, my dresses will be too tight before the cruise is halfway over! :rotfl: )

Our couples massage is scheduled for Thursday at 2:00.

Has anyone else here booked the REAS ressies yet? What dates and times did you book? :earsgirl:

Good morning all,

Yes it is getting real close to start booking our excursions and Palos online, especially repeat cruises.

So to all you Turkey Hawk's who seem to be planning some of the activities as the Easter Bunny gang is in the minority, have we decided on shore excursions where us DIS'ers are going to try to do together. I would hate to book thru DCL when we are going to do something seperate.

As far as Tee-Shirts, it seems that there are many of us who have come up, with ideas and various companies that can provide custom tee-shirts at reasonable prices. Why not have one person coordinate this, anybody who has an idea, send that idea/companies' info to that person and let that person continue the research and come up with a few selections for us to pick from.

ANY TAKERS FOR THIS JOB!!!

Have we got the dinner arrangements down yet, Do you still need res info from everybody who wants to be on the same dining rotation and in the same area of the dining room. What exactly is needed to be passed on, I guess it would be, res number and name res is in so dining can be linked.

I guess that's it for now, As far as a new spreadsheet, I will send it out sometime today to everyone who has given me their personal email address.

Let the planning begin

Ken

uh-oh - my head is swimming!

DH and I have never been to Palo and so want to make a ressie. If we are CC members, do I understand that we can do this now? Do we do it through our travel agent or at the Disney website?

I know we were going to try to have the same dining rotation -- has this been accomplished? If so, what is the rotation, so that I know which night to book our Palo ressie.

Excursions: Has anyone done the Tulum ruins? I think my dh and dd would love this. If anyone knows about it, what do you think? Good? Boring? Hot??!!??

We want to do the Stingray excursion - is it better to book this directly with Capt. Marvin's or through Disney?

So many questions!! Help ?

Thanks and hugs in advance,
Kris

Tulum Ruin did it two cruises ago
Wonderful history, very interesting, would have liked to spend more time there.
Lousy trip down there, poluted area just outside the park.
I had more fun on the Cat Fury last year down than Tulum
Long and short of it...You have to do it one time but i would not go again.
The free beer on Cat Fury is better right Lamps? :rotfl:

If we really want to be organized...i wonder if DCL will take conference calls?
Or we can IM each other as we are on the phone lines

Our kids are older DS16,DD14,DD13(birthday on Ship) so DW and i may want to be hanging with the KWDWTBSWP

(Kid Who Don't Want To Be Seen With Partents) Groups! ( did i just make up a new Acronym?)
Boy! do i wish they were still babies!
John :earboy2:

Hi John -

Thanks for the info on Tulum. Guess we probably should do it...to me it sounds like it could be a very hot and maybe not so exciting excursion, but sometimes we can be pleasantly surprised by this type of thing.

Anyhow, I'm in the KWD...group also. My kids are 18 (turning 19 on the cruise), 17, 13 (will be 14 in Oct) and 9. I can relate!

Kris
