Where you able to book excursions on the DCL site? I saw where you can save to wish list, but not able to book. When I call DCL a couple of days ago they said you could only book excursions once you were on board.

Yes, I was able to reserve. Seems like DCL changes their status on this subject every couple of days... They started out stating they wouldn't offer any at all. So, we'll just roll w/ it.

Hey guys...looks like a few more weeks and I have to look for my "private server" on CC......All you "newbies" I strategically placed myself between the bar and the rest of the Turkey day 2004 sailors.....I don't think he ever made it past me to them....

2 1/2 weeks left... not sure I can wait that long! If it weren't for the 3 birthday parties and one Thanksgiving dinner I have to host in that timeframe, I'd do nothing but daydream about cruising!

Anyone else got sick kiddos right now? Mine have some kind of virus -- fevers, lethargy, sore throats. Nice of them to get this over with now instead I guess. We might miss Halloween tomorrow though, bummer! After their parties this weekend I am putting them in isolation -- no more interaction with other kids until after the cruise.

yes, one of mine has the same sickie thing right now too. it seems to come and go quickly so if any of the rest of us are going to get it, I hope it's soon!!! My DS is having a minro surgery on Thursday so hopefully he won't get sick on top of it.

To those who mentioned ruining their diets before the cruise....I was thinking it made more sense to just eat and drink as much as possible between now and then so that I'll be "in shape" for it before the cruise, you know, get the stomach all stretched out and ready to feast
I had planned to be working out but then I had a really bad allergic reaction to something and have been swollen for nearly 2 weeks and not able to do much. Oh well....

Hi again, Casper the Ghost(Lampy). Always gone for awhile then reappears suddenly. Sooooo....you are going to be the scarecrow...WOW!!! Hanging yourself on the door is a riot. You are so into it...I like that!! So what's Kim doing tonight? Does she get dress up?

You know, last year I wondered why we could not get a drink at the beach. Had to go to the bar and retrieve em myself! This year I know how to do it. I will go visit Lampy when I run out, add it to his order(and tab) and then skedaddle back down to the DIS corner with KonkKooler in hand!

Hey, does anyone know about the dunebuggy ride. I booked it, but DH is worried on how many the dunebuggy seats. I felt, it should seat atleast 3-4. There is # of us going.

I know that sounds stupid but is there an ATM or anything like that? I'm guessing none at Costa Maya? and none on Castaway? If none onboard can I get cash in Grand Cayman?

We usually take wayyy too much cash and have always ended up bringing most of it home, however I believe Costa Maya doesn't take credit cards?

Welcome back Lampy!It sounds like you had a busy weekend scarecrow and all.I am sure you scared some kiddos last night.Poor kids<G>!I was a witch,so I shouldn't talk,but I sat in a chair not hung on the door.I bet that was something to see!

Julia-It sounds like you all had a great time at the culdesac.Great idea!We really didn't have that many trick or treaters.50 if that many.None came after 8 either.Trick or treating isn't like the good old days any more.We did take my dckids to the boo at the zoo,and we all had a great time.Great skits everywhere.DH wore his spongebob costume,and I was a pumpkin till evening hours came then I was a witch<G>!

Sherri-I remember on our first cruise we got money from an atm in Nassau.I would think front desk would be to cash a check for you.I know credit cards from what I have heard are accepted on all the islands.Doc pixie dust your way

Lampy! I thought of you spooking kids last night as we walked DD Paige around, she was 'car wreck guy' she had a broken blooded arm sling with bones popping out and a blood spattered sweatshirt. we 'gave' her a black eye and cuts on her face and bleeding lip. yes, my darling little Taylor and her friend set up a 'beach' on our driveway, beach chairs, umbrella, towels, kiddie pool with sand and toys, beach music and beach attire and passed out candy. wonder where that inspiration came from?
