I can't find it at the moment....but my dance instructer could get me a copy in one second flat. She is the best! :teeth:

:
I told you guys she is loaded." Her dance instructer" We all still have richard simmoms as our dance instructer but she may have JALO as hers. I think that the clubs have poles just in case. :dog2: :teeth:

Well supposedly Pole Dancing is now offered in many fitness clubs across America. It is supposed to help with flexibility. So is she really going to "Spinning Class" or "Pole Class"???????????

OK - off to count teeth at Wal-Mart. :teeth:

We were thinking of limiting my DS to $5 or $10 per day in the arcade. Is it possible to make this daily adjustment to the KTTW? Or is it all or nothing?

Thank you.

5 MORE DAYS!!!!

MAHE, Seychelles — A cruise liner that was attacked by pirates over the weekend docked safely on this Indian Ocean archipelago today after changing its course to escape.

Passengers described their horror as pirates in speedboats chased their luxury cruise liner at sea, firing rocket-propelled grenades and assault rifles — with smiles visible on faces otherwise hidden by ski masks.

"I was scared, I was very scared," Jean Noll of Florida. But her husband said the experience was not likely to deter them from enjoying another cruise. "We cruise all the time," Clyde Noll said.

The Seabourn Spirit had been bound for Mombasa, Kenya, when it was attacked by pirates armed with grenade launchers and machine guns on Saturday about 100 miles off Somalia's lawless coast. The ship escaped by shifting to high speed and changing course.

We can all take the Nurse to Orient Beach and she can dance for us there! :rotfl2: I am sure one of the locals will let you use a chair! And you may end up making a little side money. :teeth:
OK - seriously now, this is the Disney cruise not the Nude cruise. I wonder who is going to tell on us for talking like this! :earseek:

:teeth: OK guys - I think we can get back to Disney topics now..... :teeth:

I suppose I should have quoted a LITTLE more from the story for those that don't want to read the whole thing. The ship, which was a little 200+ passenger job, was sailing in Somali waters where U.S. warships couldn't protect it. Other than a mutiny, started by me if we don't dock at CC, I don't think we have much to worry about with pirates. pirate: pirate:

I think I'm more worried about pole dancers than pirates ;)

lakeworthdad - I don't have an answer to your question, but I'm hoping DW doesn't limit MY spending in the arcade!

BTW, I think the door sign rumor is complete crap. Much like the early boarding scare.

ChickenPox_Marg & I packed almost everything last night! A couple more items and we'll be ready to rock! :cool1: :Pinkbounc

I am off to Wal-Mart at lunch to pick up a few last minute items.

What door sign rumour???? I worked hard on these door signs with no power and no lights?????

This was just posted today at 9:19 a.m. on a cruise that left on Saturday. Same cruise as the one that said they were not allowing door signs.

Quote: I'm on board as well and just want all of you to know that my door is COVERED from top to bottom with pictures and 3-d mickey and a cruise ship that my daughter drew. It has not been removed. Plus we have seen other doors with signs on them.

We got to the port at 10:30 and received the #3. Our friends showed up an hour later and they had #9. So the number system is first come first serve. End Quote:

So guess we can do the door signs, :Pinkbounc :cheer2: and the number system seems to be only for the 1st hour.

I guess I am young and stupid to think pirates weren't "real" anymore. Of course they attacked a Seabourne ship - those people sailing have more money then they know what to do with. At least if they hopped on board our ship they'd have an entire night dedicated to them. pirate:

Not to worry...if pirates tried to take over our ship, all we'd have to do is have DisNurse go into her naked chair dance routine! That would stop them in their tracks!

Thanks - on both counts. I think I posted that #1 and #2 go to VIP and conceirge guests so #3 is the best you can get....And the 1st hour also makes sense.....Whew - one less thing to worry about there.

And as for door signs, made another DVC one this am - so glad we can use them.....

Trip to Wal-mart was not successful - still need stuff --- must go get stuff. And about 5 elephants to carry all this stuff on board. You will never believe that DH and I used to backpack with a pack only.....no formal night then. :rotfl:

Hello all :wave2:
Can you believe it's almost here! I made another trip to Wal Mart today, but it was for milk! Ok, I did get a few extras for the trip. I did find the lanyards, not sure if we will use them or the fanny thing! But, I got it cover both ways! I have noooooo idea how we will get all this crap in our car, yet, on the plane, then onto the ship! But, here we come! How in the world can 4 people need so much stuff!!!!! My DH, just looked at me, and said were bringing all this! Well, yes.....I said :rolleyes1 The naked cruise is sounding pretty good right now! (I can't find the naked icon!) ;)

The tropical weather pattern across the Atlantic Basin has become
very quiet. This is not unusual given the time of the year. However, we are still tracking identifiable tropical waves along 45 west, along 68 west, along 81 west and along 96 west. Typically this time of the year we are only tracking one or two tropical waves. So, to see four is still quite remarkable for early November. Global model output does not suggest any features developing within the next 7 days. There is some hint at possible development over the southwest Caribbean and over the western Atlantic beyond 7 days. But often this is just noise in the model output. The mean weather pattern will keep a high pressure ridge over or near the southeast U.S. through the next 7 days. That will keep a low to mid level steering flow out of the northeast. So, even if development were to occur in the southwest Atlantic or over the Caribbean it would be very difficult for any feature to motion toward the U.S.. Does this mean the tropical season is over. No. The upper level ridge stretched out west to east over the Gulf of Mexico is stronger than usual. If a ridge like this were to become oriented more north south the upper air pattern could help bring any late season tropical system northward. We don't see anything like this occuring anytime soon.

ok...only a few more days to go...I work my last 12hr shift on Wed. I hope I make it.... :rolleyes1 Hope it goes by quick!!!
We have been trying to run the last minute trips to pick up the misc stuff...you know the stuff you always forget.

Our plane leaves Boston on Sat @07:05am!!! :cool1: :cool1:
We have been trying to keep up with all the threads..so far.
We look forward to meeting all of you... :wave2: :wave2:

Is is Saturday, yet? :boat:

1 day of work down, 4 to go. Finished the post cards today. All that is left is whatever pops into my head about what I forgot to throw in the suitcase.

Dreamt last night that I left my jewelry and make-up at home. We were driving all over the place looking for earrings for me to take on the ship. How crazy is that? This is probably right before the dream that I have later this week that I have either missed my plane or missed the boat.

The weather here has been way too warm. I had shorts on this week-end and tomorrow it will be in the high 70's. I want it to get COLD so that I will feel awesome leaving the cold weather for the balmy tropics.

Been watching the hurricane predictions also. So far, so good.

A NUDIST cruise? I can't even imagine!

No problem, I'll just add the following and PM it to disnurse (even though she'll get to read it here - I like to bug her - I am an alleged stalker after all)

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
1030 PM EST MON NOV 7 2005

I love it, love it, love it! :cool1:
....Don't you think for a second that I don't appreciate every ounce of a report that says, "it's gonna' be sunny :sunny: and warm :sunny: and that DIS NURSE will be laying out in the Caribbean sun! ;)

My DH will tell you that I love  the sun all too much!
If I had stayed in Calif., I would be a raisin by now! (where I grew up)
I started as a grape, but then with maturity.....I have foregone the all too painful transition into a wine bottle.... :teeth: and have come out as a semi-presentable prune! :rotfl: .......DIS NURSE loves the :sunny: sun and there is no mistake about that!

........that's why when I saw it :cold: SNOWING :cold: outside our NICU skylights today I thought to myself, ".....in only a matter of days we will be sailing the Caribbean!...", it was like an aberation!

.....it's coming soon to a theater near you! :cheer2:

So close, and yet so far away.......isn't that a song? :confused3

Just as a side note.....DH was destined to go play "cards" with his buddies (poker) and so DH dropped off DD and DS to me at the end of my shift at the hospital tonight......I absolutley forbid DH from bringing them into the actual Family Birthing Dept........surely, some stupid receptionist or any other person without a brain would BLOW IT! ....as they all know what we are about to do!pirate: ....so, I had them all wait out in the waiting room .

.....DD exclaims, "Mommy!? My teacher told me today that we don't have school this Friday because of Veteran's Day......what are we doing?"

So sweet. princess: So innocent. :cloud9: So blind to the FLYING CANNON BALL THAT IS ABOUT TO HIT THEM UPSIDE THEIR NOODLES! :earseek:

......two days and ?who is counting?.....they have NO IDEA! :cheer2:
