Dee, might you consider Port Orleans for your girls weekend? I've stayed there quite a few times (both "city side/French Quarter" and "Riverside/i.e. Dixie Landings/Bayou"). My mom loves it b/c you can take a water taxi to Downtown Disney; a nice little ride/diversion for the evening, or during that "down' time where you are waiting to go to the airport. No matter what you choose, you know you can't go wrong - Have a great time!!!

I did think about it but it seemd like a BIG committment ..... maybe we can do a 'small one' here with our 11/11 people?
I am not a professional scrapper like the gang over on the scrappin' board but I know that House Of Princess Vicki and ChiChi Sarah (along with Hannomom) like to scrap ...... I am sure we could twist Jeanna's arm as well and even Dee - it could be cruise themed......Hmmmmm...could be fun...let me think about it ........ it could be less 'fancy' LOL!
Anyway, we will not let u miss the DIS meet - we are a difficult group to duck!

fairy god mother pc means panamal canal cruise 14days on the magicstarting this saturday the magic wiil head to ca thru the panamal canal comes back here on august 20-sept 3 pat is back home from her vacation to disney land in ca i won't be going on the panamal canal vet bill to kennal all 5 pets be expensive

Hello.....I am back....chimed in months ago, snoopin this thead out....just dreaming of booking it and I am MUCH closer to doing just that! My friend who works for Cruise One got me a quote about $600 cheaper than Disney wants...even a little cheaper than DU. She looked at the already sold staterooms and this cruise is already 3/4 booked!
I best make the decision fast.....I know when I board this coming Nov 12th on the Magic (Eatsern) there is a strong possibility this cruise will not be available.
So ya' think I can afford an extra $1,000 to book it now when I am trying to save for THIS November......NO! But I have got DCL on the brain and I think I'm gonna go for it! When we get off the ship in November, having booked again, I won't be NEAR as depressed!

Does anyone know much about Costa Maya and fun things to do (2 kids, ages almost 7 and 9). What about Cozamel?

Knock on wood my DH and I may be joining you all. Couples only this time--no kids. I know they will not be happy about that, but hey, they'll get over it. We will celebrate our 17th anniversary on this cruise.

My, my, my!! It was getting very quiet around here. Now I know why. Pat is in Africa... Mom and Sarah are on the PC cruise.. Have fun!!... and me... well, I am off on some beach just sunnin' and funnin' with the family.

Hope everyone can join us on this one!! We still have one family member that isn't onboard with us yet. It is my in-laws. It is hunting season and he doesn't want to miss it. Guess I will never understand that. Who could put HUNTING BEFORE DCL??? He is also the kind of guy that doesn't like to spend a fortune on vacations so the prices compared to our last one is a bit shocking. I will keep working on him though.

Better get back to work!! Still have to post on the December thread or Susan is going to come looking for me again!!

Welcome Sue Ellen. Dis Nurse hope you decide to join us. I am looking forward to 2 CC days it should be very relaxing. I just love CC. Disney really puts a lot of effort into detail and it shows.

I booked this cruise while on board the 12/11/2004 Eastern. We've got a ways to go, so I'm laying low in order to not get excited about something that's still a long ways off.

But it's never too early to plan what camera gear I'm hauling with me! Are you going to let me take your picture?
