Hello to all of you crazy DIS'ers.... ....so I was just surfing and came across THIS thread 'cause I was curious who is going and is anyone else excited about 2 CC stops?!

I actually read through all stinkin' 18 pages of posts because you all are so lively! Am I just as weird?

P.S. This November should I make a posterboard and hang it outside the re-booking desk announcing that only cool people can book the NOV. 11th, 2006 cruise?

Welcome DIsney Nurse. We too are excited about the two CC stops, it was our reason for booking this week.


Well it has been rough and I am ready for a vacation. We still have a long road a head of us with my MIL. I am so stinking mad at the surgeon, but she is not my mother and I am trying to kep my mouth shup and be very careful of my boundries. She had the mastectomy and he remove 2 lymph nodes that appeared malig., but he did not go any further. You can amagine what happened next. Yup, the radiation oncologist sent her back to have several more removed that too were malig. What a senseless operation. Not to mention that she has the fastes (worst) type of cancer. Now she has to do both chemo and radiation. She does not want to, but is willing to try. I told her it was her decision and if she tries and did not like it to quit. I am al about quality of life, especially when you are 82. In the midst of all this my son and DIL went to have an ultra sound to see if we were having twins. Unfortuately the babys heart had stopped and had to be taken two days later. Needless to say March was not the best month.

Thanks for letting me vent, I miss planning and being excited about the cruise. I had to get on here today in hopes to pick up my spirits. For those who do, please keep my MIL in your prayers. She is an incrediable women and very active. I wish her the best and my husband as well. He and my BIL have never reallly experienced anything like this and are befuddled. After all their grandmother died a year ago at 100.

I also hope this finds evertone well. I look forward to talking again. Let me know when.

Checking in to see what is going on with everyone. The weather is finaly changing here and we juts may get into spring.

I am planning a girls weekend in December and was wanting to stay at the Contemporary. Anyone ever stay there? I want a room that overlooks the monorail. Anyone know what that is called?

Seriously, I only met two people from my last cruise and they were by chance. One was at my table for lunch and the other sat behind me on the bus.

I figure, including myself, get so busy with their vacations and family that it is unlikely that you meet everyone.

It is true that we have traveled before,,,,as ChiChi said.....I met HOP Vicki, CJS Jeanna, Hannosmom Linda, ChiChi Sarah, Hannosdad Ed, and DSis Debbie, PoohJen (who has deserted us) and KyCruiseCrazy John and Susan on the 11/13/04 PLAPLAPer cruise....but we were total starngers who met on this board.......I am sure (????) we will have our DIS Meet in the Promenade Lounge at 3 p.m. -
.......and you will notice people in the "C" Class waiting area (I am just a 'poor relative' ) wearing special "Head Dress" in the terminal....we also will be there early because we can't wait to get the party started ......

Pat, Of course I know a fellow NYer. So sorry, I must have had a senior moment.

How is all the traveling going? I am back from a conference in DC and getting ready in June for another conference in Chicago. I am excited about that one as Gheradeli's is right down the street from my hotel. YEAH!! It is one of my favorite spots in downtown disney.

Everyone have a good weekend. We are going to get rain, but at least the weather is warmer.
