How was the weather last November????
The weather was really nice. At least I thought so. The seas were a bit rough for us but we all managed ok. I don't think we missed anything because of it. All I know is that while we were enjoying 80 degree weather, Chicago (home) got 5 inches of snow!! So, weather was GREAT!!!! :cool1:

Can you believe it is cheaper to sail in less than 9 months than it is in 20 months??? :earseek:

Time for bed... some of us have to sleep in our own bed tonight. We don't have a gazillion time shares to keep us in tropical places when it is cold! :umbrella: Pat, on your way home, could you try to bring some warmth up here too? We sure could use it!!! :cold:

NHMommy...Welcome Aboard!! :boat: :boat: :fish: And welcome to the DIS!! :disrocks: Our first cruise was 11/13/04. Weather was fine by my standards. :cloud9: Loved the waves we encountered!! :thewave: I have four dd's. Affectionatley known as the 4princesses. At time of cruise they will be...14, 13,8 & 5 (almost 6). WOW! Those ages will make for easy travelling!! :moped: Does anyone out there have 'stopgrowth' hormones?

Greeting from snowy NH! Another storm today with 6-12 inches of snow! :cold:
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Looking forward to meeting you all on the cruise. Also looking forward to hearing the sounds of tropical music while dancing during the welcome aboard party.
Heather

i like it best when we can be found on page one - so i thought i would add another post here

is everyone finally enjoying some spring weather?

im heading down to atlantic city today to see if i can win some more money for another deposit on our cruise!!

hope you all have a great weekend!!

Hi All Double Dippers!

Just added Dizney-Cruiser, NH Mommy and joycepa to the first page...... :cool1:

Are we there yet?

Hello all. It has been a while and I must say I have missed you all. I am glad to see the weather is finally changing (for at least some of us). I really need some sun (in more ways than one).

We have booked another vruise for this fall, except it is on another cruise line. I am interested in seeing how the other half lives and parties. I must admit I am a little nervous because we really enjoy DCL. The one good thing is that it is an Eastern and I love St Thomas.

How has everyone been doing? I see our list is growing. The meet should be fun.

Well I have jabbered on long enough, I will let you fine people get back to whatever you were doing.

Everyone please have a nice holiday.

Well I hope everyone had a great Easter. I have a big question. We have booked another cruise, but it is in Royal. Has anyone ever experienced Royal before? I am interested in any feedback. I have gone to cruisecritic.com, but they do not have the following the DCL has. Thanks

Hi, Dee! :wave2: Good to see you back. :sunny: I don't know anything about anything other than DCL, but I do know you could do a search here on the DIS for any of the other lines. Others have posted their comments. Just can't remember them! :confused3

Hope everyone had a joyous, peaceful Easter. :grouphug:

Vicki, I responded to your email and it came back undeliverable...so i tried again and I haven't gotten anything back....anyway, I will call you on your actual telephone :earseek: on Tuesday after I speak to my friend
....TTFN and good night!!!

I just figured out how to find this thread on the Cruise Meet Forum!! :cool1: I am SUCH the whiz! :rotfl: And you'll never guess where I found us? On PAGE 3!! Oh the horror!! This will never do. ;)

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I think I enjoyed myself a little too much Saturday night. I learned how to make the absolute best Margarita I've ever tasted. And my guests all agreed. (Wonder how they fared today? pirate: )

So here we are, bumped to page 1, looking for more cruise mates.... :smooth:

i too much prefer we are on page one!!

i cant wait to the people cruising now get back so we can hear what the new show is replacing hercules!!

hope all have a great week (hope we get to see some sun this week!)

Thanks, Jeanna. I knew that....I was just comparing us to others. We win. :cheer2:

:fish: (I'm putting this here, just because.)

Hello to all of you crazy DIS'ers....I am really interested in booking this cruise and I am currently having fun on my upcoming cruise's thread (Nov. 12th, 2005) :cool1: ....so I was just surfing and came across THIS thread 'cause I was curious who is going and is anyone else excited about 2 CC stops?! :cheer2:

I actually read through all stinkin' 18 pages of posts because you all are so lively! :wizard: Am I just as weird? :confused3

Here's my dilema...I want to book it BAD! Do I wait until I am on the Magic this Nov (7 night Eastern).....the prices seem kinda' steep....even with the onboard re-booking and credit ($200, right?).....or do I go ahead and check into what my girlfriend can some up with (she works for Cruise One)?

At the time of sailing (NOV. 11, 2006) it would be myself, DH, and DD(9 1/2) and DS(almost 7). Because of those very ages of my kids, I am wondering if by chance they would let my almost 7 y.o DS into the 8 and up category? Otherwise, I think he would be crushed.

On this next cruise (11/05) we are having DD stay in the younger group with him cause she will be 8 1/2 (and first cruise) and I know they'll want to be together! Don't think I am weird pondering such things WAY in advance.... :earboy2:

Thanks, DIS NURSE from Oregon
P.S. This November should I make a posterboard and hang it outside the re-booking desk announcing that only cool people can book the NOV. 11th, 2006 cruise? :rotfl: :cool1:

First, no you are not crazy... you are just 'special' like the rest of us!

As for the question about waiting or booking now, we booked this December's cruise last year in March instead of waiting for us to cruise in November for the discounts. We found that Disney's prices went up more than what we would have gotten in discounts for booking onboard. So, we actually saved money (which I love) by booking it before hand.

Now, the question about moving kids up into the next age group, yes they can. You just have to request it and it will not be a problem. You may be surprised to see that once they get in there, they may not mind being apart. After all, they usually have a blast. :wizard:

And last but not least, we have a group set up for the November sailing. Find out what your friend can get you. If you like it, take it. If you still want to shop around, let me know and I can have our TA, Kim get a quote for you.

Toodles!! pirate:
