Come on people kick it up a notch!!!! JACK??? Where are you man? We need some major shameless - posting going on. Ok, off to lunch. Got the newsletter in draft form, waiting for one photo, one article but all is laid out and spell checked. The list are exported for the mail house - Now I need to make copies for the CLC meeting tomorrow and then I"M HOME FREE!!!! Next week will be a breeze and I'll be champing at the bit so to speak!!!

Sorry...I go away for 2 1/2 days and I have 23 pages to read. Wow, you guys have been busy.

My wife had a teachers convention this weekend in Atlantic City, and since Disney doesn't have a casino, I figured I'd go and get it out of my system before we left.

So, I'm back, but it will take me a day to catch up! I guess I still have a chance at 5500.

Yes you do have a chance. Hey since I've been out of the school loop for a while I thought the convention was like this week. I was wondering why the schools were off in my town. But then I noticed in the next town they were opened so I thought maybe something in my township. Now I know it was the convention. When I was going to school, back in the stone age, :lmao: as my stepson would say,the convention was usually like the 7 and 8th of month. Seems like they are holding them earlier now. Good thing for you or you'd miss the ship or you would have left from there to the airport. That would have been a rush. Well I'm going to pop back out of here and do a couple of things. I'm sure the posts will add up now as people wake up all over the country and check in to see if, "Jack made it to the 5500 mark!" I'm keeping my fingers crossed like the last time. Just don't know how it happened except that while I was writting several other people were posting and got there which made my post go where yours was suppose to be.
:cheer2: Let's go Jack, (clap, clap clap), onto victory!! :cheer2:

Jackie: Very good guess. Close, but no cigar.

A hint: Paul McCartney said that one of the tracks on "this" album is his favorite song.

Woody

Woody, it has to be Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys.

6618 was our original room. We got upgraded and that is the only reason we moved out of it. The last time we cruised we found being close to the elevators was very nice and didn't find it too noisy at all. I do think that the room next door is fellow dis's so that should be a little comforting. I also thought that the further back in the boat the smoother the ride was. Goodluck with your decision.

Sorry about the spelling just came from a block party. :drinking:
I was originally scheduled for 6618 in 11/04 - a fellow DISer needed a slep 4 so I moved to 6628...it is NICE and quiet near that back elevator and very convenient running up the stairs to deck 9 and down to the dinning rooms.

She teaches in the Early Childhood area, and they do their convention the week before the regular teachers convention. That's this week, and down in Disney this week is called "Jersey week", cause it seems like everyone is from Jersey.
