Cruise is paid, passports ordered a month ago, Palo reservations made, excursions reservations made, kids registered at the lab, navigators printed out, a rough outline plan made, and diet underway. Less than 100 days to go!!! I can hardly wait!!!

I am one of those that lurks a little than every now and then pops in with a couple of posts. Probably only read about 20% of the post so am basically clueless. Thanks to all the die hards who visit often and keep things moving along. I owe you each a ice cream Mickey Bar!! I am going to try and get caught up over the next few weeks.

Sounds like there is going to be a lot of lime green at the boarding terminal. We wore group lime green T-shirts on our 2003 cruise and are hoping to find them in the bottom of a drawer some where.

:goodvibes Alright, Told you I was no expert. But I printed out the navigators from the June 24, 2006 double dip cruise so as long as they do not change things up I think I got it this time.

For Early Dinner
APLAPLA has the 5:30 pm sitting each night.
PLAPLAP has the 5:45 pm sitting each night.
LAPLAPL has the 6:00 pm sitting each night.

Just a suggestion - As long as you do not get to tired playing around in Costa Maya, I think Tuesday night is a good night for a late (8:30 - 9 pm ish) dinner at Palo's. That way, no matter what dinner rotation you get you still have 2 nights at each restaurant. You could get back on the boat a little early (say around 4:30 ish), get cleaned up and dressed, see the early show of "Twice Charmed" (6:15 - 7:15 pm), feed the kids after the show at Pluto's Dog House or Topsiders, check them in to the club and then head out for a great night together at Palo's. Or you could get back even on the boat little earlier (3:30 - 4:30) and feed the kids dinner before the show at Pinocchios Pizzeria or Plutos Dog House or Goofy's Galley. That is what me and my beautiful wife are considereing doing.

Well, I found a Lime green t-shirt on sale at Eddie Bauer - I'm wearing it today with my jeans, and I'll be wearing it on boarding day - maybe with my white pants - and lime green crocs and feather boa!

YIPEEE I can't wait - oh - yes for the cruise but we leave for WYOMING tomorrow - wish me luck getting through security!

Sister, do you want me to order the boas for us?

RayRing. Sat night/Sunday AM 3:01 eastern time (12:01 for me..yeah). Palo for brunch is the big 'rush' item, as it is only two days. However they do hold back about half the seating for embarkation day...it's just nice to get it done on line beforehand. The computer will not allow you to book more than one brunch or more than one dinner, so there's no trying for plan A and B. Also booking Flounders, if that applies for you, would be a priority.

If you think you are going to do the booking on Sa/Su and are signed up with AOL/AIM....PM me your user name, as some of us will be chatting as we wait for the 'magic hour' to arrive! ::yes::

They are called jibbitz. The store sells out of them very quickly and they only had a few letters left when we were there. I did check out thier web and they have a ton of stuff, but nothing Disney.

I read on one of the croc threads that the Mickey Head pin backs can be used like jibbitz for crocs. I've tested it with mine and they do seem to work :) I have black crocs though so you couldn't really see them and I took them out. I think they would look great with the colored crocs!

Before today is over, I just wanted to say:

While I'm sitting here....waiting for it to be 12:01AM, here's a photo of the new Castaway Club stateroom gift:

August2006037.jpg

That's a shoulder type tote bag and the goodies inside are a reg net backpack type bag, a blue net 'laundry' typle bag a red and blue CC bracelettes, two cups with lids, a CC wipes container (with wipes) and two small tubes of sunscreen and a smalle notebook/journal. We will still get the lanyard and pins at checkin for EACH CC member. Pretty nice, eh?

Well, it's 1:28am in Mississippi. I've had to drive from the country into town, in my Dad's office to use his computer. I'm waiting for the police to come by any minute and question me. Not to mention the fact that it makes me a wee bit nervous to be out and about (in pjs!) this time of night!
Okay, do I just keep refreshing my reservations page until it says I can make reservations??
(Can't believe I'm up at this hour doing this....)

My clock says 2:06 and I can't get on!! Is the Official Disney Clock slow????

How did it go....DIS clock says you posted this at 11:56P (my time...but still four minutes to 'magic hour')

I can't believe that Palo was gone for EVERYTHING so quickly! I had clicked on brunch the day and time I wanted....but it didn't come back with a confirmation...when I tried again Monday brunch was gone. Guess I'll have to book it on the ship! Did go ahead and book a dinner for Thursday (formal night) there, but fogot to click for 3-4 people and only booked for two....what a dumb-head.

Booked parasailing on CC for Sunday 1030am! :cool1:

Think I'll be moving my town car pick-up time up an hour so I can get on the ship a bit sooner and tweek those Palo reservations.....and meet you folks in the terminal before boarding ::yes::

OK.......way past my bedtime....even for being on the 'left' side of the country. Goodnight all.....let us know how you did with reservations.

Good Morning - Just got up and made my Palo Resies......
Wanted to book something for Cozumel but not sure WHAT :confused3 to do????

Thinking about Dune Buggie and snorkel.....anyone else?

Wow! I was AMAZED at how fast those ressies went!! I was there and ready when the clock struck and went for brunch first after reading that those go first. I did the one I wanted and thought I was fine and moved on to dinner. Only after getting a confirmation for dinner and realizing that DIDN'T happen with brunch I went back and everything was gone but one so I snapped it up!! Man! But I see from the post above that happens if it gets gone before I click or something. I wondered what happened. But, I got dinner, high tea and brunch so I guess it was worth missed sleep. I just never would have imagined other people were doing the same thing at that hour!! I didn't do it last year (our first) and a spot never opened up onboard, so I'm very pleased.
On a side note, Hottie Hubby was happy, too--he never knew I left the house so doesn't care a fig about Palo ressies, but I was so hepped up I woke him up for a little nookie when I got home!! That way we were ALL happy with the night's events!!

Just Booked the Radssion. I don't remember who else is staying there. We are going to get there about noon or maybe earlier.

Wonderful Linda was able to get ressies for my group (since we were all off camping this weekend) for Monday brunch at 11, and dinner on Thursday evening 6/6:30.  Tons of thanks owed to wonderful Linda!

Now this evening we are off to try to book parasailing, etc. Server is VERY busy right now! :thumbsup2

count us in for feather boas....my hubby will just roll his eyes and remind me i am talking to potential axe murderers!!!

i am so looking forward to this cruise...i have been reading some trip reports and i can almost taste the ocean!!!! i cannot wait to try all the drinks and enjoy the spa....we splurged this time and got a tropical rainforest pass so we can come and go all cruise long!!!

all my kids start back to school later this week...this is the first year all of them will be in school all day long....did someone say PARTY??? party:

i might even be able to scrapbook my first 2 cruises!!!!! i really need to start thinking about our door signs and working on them...so much to do and time is dwindling....

i am glad for everyone who got their ressies and sorry to those who did not...best wishes for the ship!!! i have always gotten what i wanted onboard! :grouphug:

is an ugly hour on the east coast....however I did get everything I wanted for my in-laws..now I have to do it again in 15 days for myself.....I think I am still tired! :rotfl2:

I got:
Monday - Brunch 11:30 am
Tuesday - Dinner 7:00 pm

It looks like I was really lucky on the brunch!

It is so nice to have some of the stuff done for this cruise. Last night we went and bought part of the wench outfit on Pirates night. Anyone else dressing up?

Has anyone else pre-registered yet on line?
