Linda...we checked out the Crocs kiosk at a mall yesterday and they are pretty neat, aren't they? Really, amazingly lightweight. I didn't buy any for myself...didn't like the few color choices available there. But, there are so many choices on their website, I just can't decide:). DH wouldn't even go NEAR the kiosk, but I did buy both the kids a pair. They don't want to take them off!!

Enjoy them!!!

:yay: Our CROCs arrived today. Love them, love them, love them! They weigh practically nothing and feel wonderful on my feet. Sarah and I have not taken ours off since they came in. Poor DH's were too big (I think I heard a small, almost imperceptiple, except to my highly trained wifey ears, sigh of relief :) ). I am sending them back and have already ordered him a new pair in a smaller size.

Wishing you all a pleasant sunny weekend. It's raining here, but promises to be very nice tomorrow. :sunny:

What style of crocs did you get Linda? And color?

:guilty: :Pinkbounc It's true Kris - I did buy two pair on line while we were chatting the other night. I bought two pair of the Niles - one in butter and one in Khaki - ibouncetoo and I wear the same size - so we will switch on and off depending on our outfit colors on the Cruise - we love our flip flops, wore them today at my pool - decided we needed to "sharpie" our initials on them and thought Jackie might need a new pair by cruise time - her tread is already wearing out - although I haven't seen another pair of shoes on her since she got them - so that might explain it. BOY are they comfy!!!!

My pool water was up to 86 degrees - time for the air rador (sp?)!!!!

Good night all - I'm SPA'ing tomorrow at Camelback Inn - http://www.camelbackspa.com/

in case you want to view their site - it's lovely!!!! My good friend Theresa got a certificate from her DH for Christmas - and I just "needed" a spa day - so off we go! (No lime green crocs at this resort...) me thinks.

i am once again sick - someone put it in my sisters ear that i might have mono - im forever tired, keep getting this killer headache and sore throat to the point that i lose my voice - just when i start to feel a bit better (havent really felt 100% for months) i get hit with it again - so then other people started chiming in about the mono thing and linda wouldnt quit bugging me til i made another dr appointment - so i go on tues :( i hate to go to the dr

hey dee, where do your groupies live? perhaps we could do a mini-dis-meet at prospectors one night :) maybe you should swing by for it! are they flying out of philly friday morning?

hey pat! where have you been? have you stopped over the scarp world lately?

spotdude - so sorry for your loss

CHICHI, so nice to see you here. It has been a whiles. I was just asking your mom if you were okay cause I had not heard from you.

Dizney-cruiser, They are flying out of Philly on Friday. They already have their reservations. Nancy is as obsessive as I am with planning. Probably why we get a long so well. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Peggy-Jo have a great time and relax.

I got the Cayman in sea blue and the Beach in fuschia (that was Peggy Jo's fault, she mentioned fuschia and I just had to have them :teeth: )

Speaking of you, Peggy Jo, I just checked out the Camelback Spa site, and now I've got to plan a vacation to AZ and go there....its all your fault. ;) :lmao:

:offtopic: Hey all, I just had to come and share that we went to see Disney Live. It was wonderful and my DGD's loved it as well. It was truly "Magical" Iwas impredded with some of the magic. If any of you get the change to go, you should. It was only 90 minute show and they did have an intermission.

Has anyone noticed the web cam is facing somewhere else. I have not been able to see the ship in a while.

Cool....I'll check them out....

Did you see on the Live report, chip&dale&fun posted about the Native Choice tour.....well, here it is:

Posting on the Native Choice Tour - It was GREAT! We took a taxi downtown. You walk through the port and end up where there are very orgaized rentals. It is $3.00 per person in large vans. They take you to the start of town and we were met by one of the guides as we were the first group. However, it is right by Cats Meow so you cannot miss it. You will need to wait for all the touring parties that time slot to arrive, so you might as well relax for about 15 minues in the shade. Here are a few pre-tour HINTS.

You will be walking through trails - in the summer and by the time you arrive, the rainy season will have started, so I suggest tennis shoes and socks and loose clothing. Comng from swampy south Florida, we always wear long sleeves and slacks....AND HATS.....that might be hard to convince teenagers to do, but it is a HINT for comfort. We had no trouble with bugs or leaves or sand....

You are then taken via small van which seats about 9-10 about 45-60 minutes to the ruins. Carolina was our guide in the van and very informative. She explained the Mayon life style, home construction, history of the port, the villages along the way etc......

Then a ruin looms before you - WOW. You are dropped off at the visitors Center. Be warned.....all the cruise buses arrive about the same time and there is a long, long line for ladies restrooms....which are quite clean. Some small shops and souveniers are available. Native Choice was very well stocked with bottled water and juice for the kids, all sealed, all quite safe.

We waited, in the shade.....remember you are on Mexican time, so relax....and finally it was time for us to leave. Ivan was our guide and he was excellent. He provided a commentary on the excavations and explained everything that you would see.....I will not spoil the surpise with an explaination here, unless requested.

You do a bit of walking, but it is slow paced, with stops for pictures and exploring. I did not feel rushed at all.....

We went on to the lunch with the Mayon Family - again, I will recommend this heartily......Additional discussions along the way were provided, water etc and the van was air-conditioned. Lunch was not as expected, and again, will not post the details yet.

Take some small bills as the guide may offer home-made articles the family is selling. It is a nice way of providing a "tip" without seeming insulting.

The van dropped us off at the port, saving another cab-fare and also time....We were able to walk around the shops at the port and have a local brew before it was all-aboard time.

It sounds like they did the "Mayan Experience" $68 tour which includes the lunch with a local family...the 5 hour tour.

WHEN? Can you come too???? I'd take a day off work to play with you ::yes::

Tell him it is HOT HOT HOT :sunny: We won't be out of the tripple digets for the next four months!

OK my OCPD friends...when the Navigators are up from the double-dip I will be revising my 'chart' and figured I'd make a version to post/e-mail so you could all use the basic page and add your own information/plans.

As each subsequent double-dip occurs, we can note verification of the schedule or changes DCL may make from one group to the next.

The chart will include:
Day/Date/Port, lunch 'theme', attire, dinner menu theme, main stage show, DRINK OF THE DAY, and theme of the adult nighttime activity (60's night, 80's night). There will be a place for you to note your own plans/excursions/Palo reservations or any other shipboard activities that might apply to you and your family. There will be a space for information on pre-cruise day also. I will note when the Castaway Club and DVC meets are and the character breakfasts.

How's that sound?
