I had nothing else to post this a.m., but figured a very cheery " GOOD MORNING CASTAWAYS"...(imagine Robin Williams in movie).
Headed to drycleaners to make sure DS7's tux is not a wrinkled mess when we arrive on ship. AAA stated cruise docs sent via DHL and should arrive today.
Just a little note... take time to check exchange rate in Mexico with the US$/Peso, I have seen people get taken to the bank due to not knowing how many Peso's = $. We watched as a vendor sold a coke for $13 on street because people didn't know the exchange rate.
Did I mention WE ARE GETTING CLOSER TO THE HORN !!!!

Ok so if the exchange rate is $1 = 13 peso's your example person above could have had 13 cokes for his $1. Heck, the Disney Exchange rate is 5 to 1 on cokes in the parks (I pay $5 for a $1 coke everytime).

Seriously, thank you for the heads up!!! Great point for those of us who rarely venture out of the country. Is this an issue in the Cayman Islands?

It will be 3 weeks from today when we board that plane for FL.

DH & I are trying to figure out the formal wear for me. I am so stressed about it. We tend to dress casual at church. I only have 1 dress that is dressy.

I have the Mommy helper coming for 2 Sunday afternoons to distract the dear kiddos so I can pack in peace. I can't wait for the last minute as dh's work has gone bonkers! I am NOT a last minute person.

I am off to the Outlet Malls to get new sneakers for me. Also going to look for a nice dressy dress. The kiddos are set for their clothes.

Today is dragging!
I got to bed really late last night, and had to get up early so I am snoozing at my desk today!

I can't wait to get our bracelets!!

Oh, and the propeller clock in the stateroom is an alarm clock, but if you like one that you can hit snooze or see in the dark, then you should bring one.

The products that they have in the staterooms are actually a good size. They come in a size that is bigger than say a travel size of shampoo.
I think there was shampoo, conditioner and body lotion as well as a couple of bars of soap.
The stateroom host will replenish as you use it up.

I just got off the phone with DCL!
I ordered some goodies to be delivered to our friends stateroom that are our our cruise, as well as some flowers for my friend who will be on the Magic the week after us.

Tried on my dress for formal night, and thank goodness it fits. Wouldn't that have been a hoot if I just packed it and it was too big or too small! Bought this dress a while ago with no particular place to wear it but I think it will do just fine for formal night.

Going to jump right into packing this weekend. Break out the suitcases, find the bathing suits, and enjoy getting to revisit summer again this November.

I've been surfing the "pictures of food" boards again (aka food porn). I do love those pix. It helps me as I know what I want to make sure I order. That thread makes me HUNGRY!!!

Thanks Shauna, got the wristbands today. They fit perfect and are very cool!!! I have ordered all my FE stuff and expect it to arrive early next week. Things are starting to get real!!!! Very excited about this trip.

I also went shopping for formal night for me finally, and found a VERY magenta, VERY shiny gown at Lord & Taylor that didn't break the bank. I just have to have it hemmed- apparently Oleg Cassini makes dresses for Amazons, and I definately do NOT fit in that category!
