but I have had the energy to print out the kiddos journals that they will be taking on the cruise.

I found the site via the dis family section.

I had to make some of my own pages so we can all journal our thougths for the scrapbook I am going to make!

Dh has been working from home yesterday and today.

I am hoping after a morning nap that I will have the energy to get my stuff done that's gotta be done by FRIDAY!!

I've decided now to track the time left in hours....48 hours until I board my plane for Orlando.

That storm yesterday was amazing....I didn't realize how bad it was until I saw all the streets closed on my way home...the resulting commute this morning was a nightmare.....

Safe travels for those of you leaving today....I need to focus here at work to make sure I get done what I need to before I leave...I'll check in periodically, but will probably not post enough to be #2500.

I just read on the main boards that the ship won't dock in Key West in the morning, that it's more like around noon when it does. If this is true, this would work out great cause we have Palo brunch reservations for 10:30 on Sunday. It'll be perfect cause we'd head right off the ship after eating.

But if it does dock earlier, oh well. Palo here we come anyway.

Just an attempt to keep the post count up and climbing. I made a personal goal of 300 posts. Whoo. Time for a banana dance.

Starting to receive responses from DD teachers about homework. She is going to have a ton of work to catch up. I miss middle school - she made up her work in no time. High School is tougher. Why are the teacher's doing so much work that short week anyway?

I am entering oh my goodness, why didn't I work harder on Monday and Tuesday mode. Yes, I confess I have been taking it easy and remaining calm and relaxed so as not to stress myself. (My sinuses are already bad from Fall in NJ but stress on top of that makes it impossible to function.) So I am relazed, calm and NOT READY!!!!!!

Gosh but I am excited about this trip. Can barely contain myself here at work.

wuv tigger, did you find a printable journal in a section of disboards.com? If so, can you tell us more how to find it? I can't find the dis family section you referred to.

The other day, someone mentioned the Creative disSigns section which I was able to find... great stuff there! I found a number of images which we pulled off to create personalized magnets for our family, my in-laws, and their friends who will be traveling with us.

Thank you everyone for contributing all this great info over the course of the last several months. We leave in less than 24 hours!!

From the umpteen times we've been to Key West there are a few really good places to eat if you're up to it.
Rum Barrell on Front St. --- Philly Cheesesteaks and awesom fish sandwiches
Hog's Breath Saloon on Duval - Huge Burgers
Hard Rock Cafe on Duval -same old, but cool place
Upstairs of Crabby Dicks, great seafood
Fantastic Coffee is at Bad A$$ coffee on corner of Front/Duval St.

Not sure who's game on trying the local flavors, but if you get chance while in Key West, be sure to try a few things:

Key Lime Pie frozen on stick w/Chocolate
Conch Fritters or Conch Chowder....OMG, SOOO GOOD !!
Gator Bites, yes folks, real alligator meat ,......very very tasty !

Well I've got more packing to do before tomorrow, but safe journeys for all of those headed out, see ya Sat. at 3pm..... I'll try to post some more tonite.

I don't remember seeing CVS in walking distance (especially with case of water), but there are a ton of little markets in area. There is a Cuban store in Mallory Square that I believe has water.

I had extra 3 prong pocket folders for each of us. It has spaces to journal daily. I also included some autograph pages for CM's, characters, the captain of the ship

Those 2+ hours of sleep I got this afternoon seemed to have helped my head etc. Here's hoping I can finish my 2 do list by the end of tomorrow!
