November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

Well, still no hours posted. My mom, step-dad and brother are going with us. We all were going to have a big Disney planning party on Sunday. I guess we will have to put that off.

I' m not having a party, but I too am hoping that they are by the end of this weekend. I can't believe it's taking so long.

We are having a party because all 3 of the older boys are Disney "adults" this year. We are going to go through menus at all the restaurants and let them see what they would like to eat. That helps my mom and I plan our ADRs. We will be a Magical Gathering of 9, and my mom and brother have only been once, and my step-dad has never been to Disney.

For our party, we are having Disney Mickey pizzas that I got from Walmart and Mickey Mac & Cheese from Disney. Disney Mickey apple slices. Disney juice boxes. I got a bunch of other Disney snack stuff from our Krogers.

hI. just wanted to share some info. I just called to buy VMCP tickets for NOV and the CM told me that they had opened up dining reservations for that night fro VMCP ticket holders for Tonys, Liberty Tree and CRT!!! I booked a 6:35 ressie for CRT This was the one resevation I was worried about getting and it is done! I do not have to get up insanely early on the May 31 to make my ressies! I can actually wait till I wake up to call!

I also read today where someone said that allears is saying that Super Soap Weekend is going to be the 15th and 16th not the 8th and 9th. Now I have to avoid DHS for those two days.

Going crazy waiting for the hours to be posted!! And I'm waiting for TGM to update his best days schedule too, which I guess he can't do until Disney releases their hours.

Today is my ADR day...180 days to go baby!

I didn't get Breakfast at CRT on Sunday nove 2nd...no seating available for a party of 5...BUMMER!

So I decided instead of starting our trip with Cindy, we would end it with her. So Friday (our last park day) we will be having breakfast there instead.

For Chef Mickey's, they did have a 7:00 am on the day we wanted (wednesday, nov. 5th) but that was too early for my family (they don't like to eat first thing) so I snagged at 8:10 ADR.

For Le Cellier, I got Monday November 3rd at 5:25 but I might change that because its a table for 4 and a table for 2... but I think someone said they have to do it that way because they don't have tables that seat 5. Does anyone know this for sure?

We'll be there 11/8-11/15 BCV all 8 of us. Also waiting for the hrs to post and TGM to update. We've been many times but traveling w/ a family that we haven't traveled w/ before so no idea what to do first!

I never realized that restaurants can be booked up when you call on your 180 day mark. Now I am nervous. Especially since we will be a party of 9. Is that because they let you make ADRs for 180 days plus up to 10 days? So when we call to make ADRs people have already been making ADRs on our 180 day mark.

It is partially because people get to do 180 +10, but I do think they reserve some so they aren't all booked that due to the 180 + 10. That way it is fair and others get a chance also. I will probably try again and see if I can end up getting CRT on Sunday, if not no biggie, I'll be happy anyways since I do have it even if its at the end of the trip instead of the beginning.

We're in the same boat.........there's 10 of us going, 3 seperate families and I'm in charge of planning it all---where to go when, meals, shows, etc. etc. I don't mind planning, love it actually--but I would like to get started NOW!!!

Same here but not such a large group! There are 4 of us for now, but I'm waiting to find out on 3 maybes. It's our first time traveling with and planning for a group as well. It certainly makes everything more complicated!

I didn't realize the dates for Super Soap Weekend were the 15 & 16! We were thinking it would be going on during our visit. Hmm, I'm slightly bummed haha. We were planning on avoiding it for the most part but it would have been so neat to catch a glimpse of some of the stars.
