November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

We (DW, DS(5) and myself) are going Aug 26 2008 to Sep 1 2008 staying at the CBR with free dining, but upgraded to the Deluxe dining package. So far I only have 2 meals to reserve left!

From here we head to Port Canaveral and board the Magic for a 5 day double dip cruise!

So my son misses the first 3 days of Kindergarten, he'll get over it.

All jokes aside, I hope you have a wonderful trip. Sounds like the perefct vacation. And hey, I´m taking 3 kids out of school for a total of 16 school days (22 day vacation).

I got to make my first ADRs TODAY!! I am getting really excited. My vacation actually starts on 10/25 and goes until 11/8. I made reservations today for BBB in the castle and 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Of course since I am staying off site I will be calling almost every morning for the next two weeks to finsih up the reservations. The Tour Guide Mike site is very helpful in tracking this for me though.

Oh, just found this site, thanks to whomever directed me here....

I make my ADR's on May 19th. Some friends of ours are heading to the world on May 8th and they asked us to come along, but since it is their first time and our fifth, I figured we were better sticking with our original November plans.... but as May 8th draws closer I am wishing I was going. So at least I have Nov hours and such to keep my disney obsession in check... Praying BB is open for hte Nov waterpark!!

I think you'd be pleased with his site if it's yor first trip and you have enough time to schedule and plan still.

I joined the Unofficial Guide online and that is why I changed my plans! I had already bought the book, which was VERY helpful, and when I went online, I learned even more tips.

After buying tickets for the Halloween party Thursday, I get to make my ADRs Friday!!!!!!!

Then I will take a short Disney break

Me too, I am really ready to know what I am dealing with. I don't do well with this whole waiting thing. I think I am driving DH crazy, but he just nods and acts interested as I run am million different sceranios by him.

Yay!! we got our vacation extension we wanted. So now we will be at SSr as planned from the 2nd to the 8th, but we are going to surprise the kids and check into the Nickolodeon hotel and stay until the 11th. We going to do US, IOA, & MVMCP. They are going to FREAK OUT!!!!!

That is so great!!! The kids will be excited. We have stayed at Nick Hotel many times, and my kids love it. I was trying to surprise my kids with MVMCP, but I couldn't keep it a secret. Then I was trying to surprise them with a Magical Gatherings Wishes cruise, and my mom (their gramma) told them about that. I hope they are excited when we do these special things.

I was just hired yesterday for a new position at Siena College! I'll be teaching there next year!
It comes with a huge raise in pay...... my girlfriend and I will be able to do more things in Disney World now. We're thinking about doing one of the Living Seas events. And I'll be able to golf this time! It will make our trip that much more enjoyable.
I'll miss being in Saratoga Springs twice a week, but I will NOT miss the commute.... it wasn't awful, but Siena is less than 10 minutes from my place in Center Square (I suppose I'm also receiving a raise in gas money!). And Siena is a beautiful school with a wonderful environment and an academic identity I respect. I'm very happy.
