November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

I have been putting stuff in baskets under my bed for about a month. DH teases me terribly if I put the suitcases out any more than a couple of weeks before we leave. He's going to be in shock when the cases fill up in say oh - 15 minutes!! It shouldn't take me that long to transfer everything from under the bed. Then again, why should I let him in on my 'dirty little secret'.

I am always known as the Last Minute Packer...But, everyone on this thread has me so excited that I am going to ask my husband to get out the suitcases. I know he will look at me and fall over. He usually does ALL of the packing... (He likes things packed "Just SO" haha)!!
I am going to show him!!

There are 10 of us going.. 4 in my family.... family of 3 staying with us at Villas at Wilderness Lodge.... another family of 3 , a good friend that I teach with and her husband and daughter. It will be GREAT fun!!! So excited.

Here are our plans: O'Hana, Bibbid, Bobbidi Boutique, 1900 Park Fare dinner,
Whispering Canyon, Tusker House, Grand Gathering Fireworks Cruise, Akershus, Rose and Crown, Yachtsman Steakhouse, California Grill, and Liberty Tree Tavern!!!!
Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun!!

I do the same thing!!! I have my stash in the closet, but its got Disney Store tshirts that I bought for the girls, some glow bracelets, ponchos, princess dresses that the girls haven't seen yet, sweaters, pajamas.... you name it, I have it in a giant black garbage bag in the closet. And my husband has no clue. lol Not that I am trying to hide it from him. I just don't think he would be as tickled as me that I have started packing. And he would probably think that it just demonstrates his point that our girls have waaaay to much clothing. LOL.

I've been gathering odds and ends to pack. I won't officially start packing until the week before we leave. I need to run to a few stores this week to grab grab around the neck money holders for the kids. I have no clue where the other one's have run off to.

Well, I'm technically getting started, I purchased two hanging toiletrie bags at WalMart for myself and DD today. Only $13 each, a lot better price than the Vera Bradley ones!

Well I am with all you guys.
We leave on Friday. 10:40am flight.
I have my spare room so orgaized it is scary!!
I already pre-packed the food suitcase.
DH will be bringing home bubblewrap.
So much to do before we leave.
None of us can take the day off before to finish.
SO excited!!!!
Is anyone staying at ASMu? We've never stayed on site so
this is new to us.
I did take advice and buy water through staples.
Got two 24 poland springs water cases for $14. Free shipping.
So that will be at the hotel when we get there.
Still need to find some room for the blender and mix!!
Need to be ready to party if the Red Sox win!!

I couldn't take it any more. I was going to wait until day 30 to start packing, but I started on my list Thursday and today I finally had start. Got a bag out and put in the rain ponchos, glo-sticks, collasible laundry basket and DD swim floatie.

I know how you feel. I was making mental lists in my head every single night going over the same things again and again. Of course that's why I joined this wonderful support group. We're all in it together.
