November '08 ~ What Do You Mean It's Over? Should we plan another???

There are 10 of us going.. 4 in my family.... family of 3 staying with us at Villas at Wilderness Lodge.... another family of 3 , a good friend that I teach with and her husband and daughter. It will be GREAT fun!!! So excited.

Here are our plans: O'Hana, Bibbid, Bobbidi Boutique, 1900 Park Fare dinner,
Whispering Canyon, Tusker House, Grand Gathering Fireworks Cruise, Akershus, Rose and Crown, Yachtsman Steakhouse, California Grill, and Liberty Tree Tavern!!!!
Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun!!

We are going to be a Grand Gathering of 9. I am really excited too. We are doing the Grand Gathering Fireworks Cruise as well. I think ours is on the 15th. I have been trying to keep it a secret from all the kids. We have never done a cruise, so this is one of the big things for us this trip.

Is anyone staying at ASMu? We've never stayed on site so this is new to us.

Bleck, I have a cold. Darn weather change! It went from the lower 80's/ high 70's to low 60's on Saturday. And I sat out at my youngest DS's and DD's football games and now I am all stuffy and couching. So as soon I take the kids to school I am going back to bed when I get home.

Still no sign of my missing bag with the fanny packs/sharpies. I asked DH to check on the shelf in our closet in case I missed them but I didn't remind him and of course he forgot. So I'll have to have him check Tuesday evening. He put some things in the attic from our closet a couple months ago so if the bag isn't in the closet he may have out it up in the attic so he just may be looking for those when he gets the rest of the suitcases down this week.

It looks like they changed the Spectro & Wishes schedule on the 8th and 9th, too. I had it down as 8:00 Spectro, 9:00 Wishes, 10:00 Spectro, but now it's 8:00 Spectro, 10:00 Wishes! Drat. That means my parents most likely won't see Wishes. At least they'll see Holiday Wishes on our MVMCP night.

that just means that they took away an extra Spectro b/c they aren't expecting higher than normal crowds. Not a bad thing.

However, that second spectro is always awesomely uncrowded.

Oh no!!! Same thing with me. I had planned on seeing the 10:00 Spectro on the 9th. We are eating dinner at DHS at Sci-Fi at 5:50 pm. After dinner we were going to go to MK for Spectro. I don't think we will make it to the 8:00 Spectro.

Thanks Jo. I was in bed. I slept until about 15 minutes ago But do feel a bit better. I wanted to go back to sleep again but I was so hungry...LOL
I actually saw your other post this morning and I am missing all the EMHs we are there except the Sunday Magic Kingdom ones But decided I would just work around the changed EMHs. I might Change my Animal Kingdom and DHS days around a bit but since I have 6 days in the park (usually we only have 4) I decided not to sweat it too much. I was going to do Epcot and Magic Kingdom 2 days but if the kids want to spent a little more time in Animal Kingdom or DHS then we will use those extra two days to hop around. Of course I will probably feel differently and stress more when I actually feel back to my old self and it sinks in...LOL

If they'd just taken away the Spectro, then I'd be less unhappy, but they also moved Wishes from 9 to 10. That's way too late for my parents.

THe CM at CRO told me that the 7th of November is now a DHS night, then the morning of the 8th is also DHS. We arrive on the 7th and will have a teen with us that has never been to WDW, so I figure we'll probably hit MK the afternoon of the 7th, then dinner at 'Ohana, then either back to MK or over to DHS, although I know it will be packed for EMH!

I bet they set those hours because Super soap weekend was suppose to be that weekend. Saturday, Nov. 7 & 8. So they took the early morning hours away Saturday. Shoot, me and my dd were going to go there in the morning before we check into BC.

I saved $60 this morning. Disney came out with a new code for room only ressie's and packages. If anyone doesn't have a code for the ressies in Nov. or Dec., except for Thanksgiving or Christmas, you should. On the web page I was quoted $129 a nite for a mod. But since I just booked my sons room last week I called and the CM said it is $109 a nite.
