Nov 25-Dec 2

Just a bit. That site is one that I belonged to for years, but then they were bought out by another group and it went downhill. Fanhome was resurrected just a few months ago by the original founding members and it's slowly rebuilding itself to what it once was. I haven't been over there as much lately as I used to be. At one time, I was the moderator of the Red Sox board. It's a great place to discuss baseball though.

Ok, what was I going to say? Hmmm...thinking, thinking. Oh yeah...

Back to Tracy's post to me last night, since I missed it because I got off the computer right after my last post so I could watch CSI...

My BIL is originally from the Cleveland area. Willoughby Hills to be exact. Never been there myself, but I have been to Dayton and Columbus. And I've spent a fair amount of time in Fairborn since BIL was stationed at Wright-Patterson.

I grew up about 10 minutes from Willoughby Hills! What is your BILs name? Do you know where he went to school?

Have you done the Ohana Stitch breakfast? Nope. Only Character Breakfast we've done is CP last year. And back in 2001 we dined at 1900 Park Fare with a mix of characters.

Have you done the MNSSHP? Not yet. This the first time going at the holiday.

Do you fly? Southwest? Yes. Most likely Southwest since they go direct from Providence to Orlando.

His last name is Dodrill. I don't know what school he went to, but would have been Class of '89.

Ok both of you how many times have you been to Disney?

I'm a relative newbie- I've only been to WDW 4 times. My son wants to work there and do the college program. Maybe we'll move down then.

Twice that I've actually stayed on-site for a week long vacation. First time was at Shades of Green in 2001. That was the first trip ever. Second time was January 2006 and we stayed at POFQ.

A friend of mine also used to live in Orlando. Once I visited and we went to MGM. Another time I visited and she took me to Universal, but we went to DTD before I left to lunch at Wolfgang Puck's.

How old is he? Looks like he's got a while to go yet? This is 2nd + 3rd trip that I am old enough to remember.

We are about in the same boat.

Oh yeah, he's got a way to go but it's never to early to start pushing college. He needs to know that he IS going!!!;)

Are there any restaurants that are "musts" for either of you?

We haven't eaten at many since we've been fairly cheap. But we're planning on getting the dining plan this time around so we can try many more.

Kyle look out for these two on your trip.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc .

I'm am really really starting to get all freaked out now,,,, :scared:

Now the real question are any of you Mass people Red Sox fans. I hope so.

IMO, if your from Mass and DON'T like the Sox AND don't like seafood,,,, then you should move!!!! I grew up on the water on Cape Cod and played baseball, no internet back then so there was ONLY the Red Sox!!!!!

MATSUZAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

With a couple of kids we are doing O'hana Stitch Bfast. Other than that not big restaurant goers w/kids no fun. We will do MNSSHP in Sept. and MVMCP(2x) and CP and other stuff.

Ok 18 handicaper here is the plan, first work on your grip then & along w/ some short game......;)

Do you have any nuggets to lay on us? Between you and Kelleigh there are 5,000,000,000 posts drop some knowledge on us....:yay: And yes I prefer NE clam Chowda, Not Manhattan.

We LOVE Le Cellier!!!! Hubby wants to go twice this time. DS is old enough now to sit and enjoy a good meal and still enjoy Disney. I don't go to WDW to do fancy dining. And we have to do the Hoopdee Doo Review. It was fun. We thought Prime Time was over-rated as well as Hollywood and Vine-the food selection was weird. Chef Mickeys Breakfast was fun-It was DS b-day and they sand and danced for him-He wanted to crawl under the table. The Biegarten is good (Very Large Beers) they only problem is that you sit at large tables with other people. We sat with very nice people though. People say Boma Is good. Not sure if I'd enjoy African food. I don't know what it would be and alot of wasted cash if we didn't like it.

I don't understand the people who live here and don't like seafood. That's just so wrong.

My sisters live in Illinois. Several years ago, I had to go out to visit the younger sister and I went to Walmart to do some grocery shopping. (It's the only store in town.) I got back to her apartment and mentioned that they didn't have a seafood department. I thought that was odd. Then she pointed out to me that they weren't exactly anywhere near the "sea" and that all their seafood could be found in the freezer cases. I decided right then and there that I'd never live in the midwest.

Since I actually worked today and just now have some time for Dis'in I'll say this about Salem, Boston and the surrounding area's. If your going to do Salem, don't come down around Halloween. Its like being at MK on x-mas day, but its a whole town not a theme park. It is a mad house. I've been to Salem a number of times, but never for the "tourist" stuff. I have a friend that lives in the next town over so we'd hit some bars and restuarunts, but that was 10+ years ago. It is a nice little town right on the water.

I LOVE Boston. I've been to many cities around the U.S. but ahhhhhhhh BOSTON YOUR MY HOOOOME!!! I highly recommend a visit a Boston. Late spring is great (once the colleges have their gradutations or just before otherwise you wont find a place to stay). After Labor Day is nice, but lots of tourists for the Fall foliage, many of the prepackaged tours start in Boston then head north. Summer can get hot, but is still nice. Its a walking city, but its a good idea to do a tour first. Good shopping, great food, lots of entertainment, awesome history, etc....

Plymouth, I grew up in the next town over. Been to the Mayflower area and Plimouth Plantation many times, though its been YEARS and YEARS since I've been to the Plantation. I went to the Mayflower area a few months ago to take some pics. There are some great little resturaunts and little seafood joints with awesome food. Best lobstah prices are in the late summer/early fall. Twin lobstah dinners for $10.95 sometimes triple lobstah dinners for $10.95 type deals and sometimes its even better. Oh and the CHOWDAH!!!

Don't have the Plymouth area pics posted on my photobucket site but here are some Boston and other Cape Cod area ones for a quick glance:
