Handicap18--I checked out your photos in your signature--Nice work! there are some terrific shots! I can find really unique photo spots but it usually doesn't come out like I invision it should. Maybe I'll take a class this summer.

Thanks for looking and for the nice words Tracy. The last trip to WDW was just DW and myself. I went with the intention of taking LOTS of pic. I had recently bought a new dSLR and was itching to really give it a good workout. I ended up taking about 1500 pics. Not all came out, but I was very happy with the end results. Since then I've gotten a few new lenses and lot more idea's from over on the Photography Board. This next trip will be a big group (8 total including the baby, so we don't actually qualify for a Grand Gathering), so I'm not sure how much time I'll have for photography. I still plan on taking a lot. I have a lot of ideas so going in ahead of time with an outline of a plan helps. But I'll also have the 3 kids as photo subjects, so that should add a number of shots in and of itself.

I didn't get a lot of good pics of SpectroMagic, though I did have the right lens to use. Problem was I bought the lens only a few days before leaving and didn't have a complete sense of what I could accomplish with it. Also this time we'll be doing MVMCP so I plan on taking TONS of pics there. I LOVE the x-mas parade. It is my favorite of all the parades. I also hope to get some night shots of MGM, we only spend time during the day at MGM on the last trip. So no Fantasmic shots or night shots of the Hat, ToT or the Guitar at RnRC.

So have you guessed yet that I really like Photography? :rotfl:

Ok we will know it's you when we see the guy with a hundred cameras and HUGE lenses around your neck?!?:thumbsup2

Yes, but not for long.

I'm just stopping in to do some quick posting about dining. Hubby and I decided that we are going to head over to Universal during the trip to dine at Emeril's for his birthday. That means that we'll have an extra TS credit, so we think we may change one of of options and go with a 2TS credit instead.

We've narrowed it down to Narcoossee's, California Grill or Citricos. I'm leaning toward Narcoossee's since we should be able to see the MK fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant if we time it right.

Emerils would be fun. What about Wolfgang Pucks? Has anyone been there?

I've been in and out the last few days. Got a stomach bug so I'm spending most of my time in bed. I hate being sick,,, not fun at all.

We're still (mostly me) debating if we'll schedule in a day at Sea World during our trip. We've done Universal, but haven't done Sea World yet. I'll have to wait until all the EMH come out so I plan the dinner's. If we do Sea World then we may end up doing a 2 TS credit dinner, I'm leaning towards California Grill.

Unfortunately I lost my excel sheet that the '05 trip for the same week all planned out. So now I have to start over and it will be harder to not be able to compare. I have a pretty good idea of what we'll do when, but the biggest thing will be the EMH which wont be the same as '05. Some we'll avoid and some we'll take advantage of. We're also going to do MVMCP most likely on Thurs, which leaves that morning free, but takes up Fri morning (the party runs late). I think in '05 we did Epcot since WS doesn't open till 11am.

We still got time for those decisions though.

I've been to Wolfgang Puck's a couple of times, usually for lunch. We never ventured up to the dining room, but I've been to the cafe and the sushi bar. Everything I've had so far has been pretty good, but we felt a little rushed when we were there last time. Someone else mentioned that they thought the service was less than stellar after they ordered there drinks and the waitstaff realized they weren't ordering alcohol. Hubby and I didn't order alcohol either, so I wonder if that was why the service was a little subpar.

The other times I'd been at lunch when service was fine.

Emeril's is my favorite place and worth the occassional splurge, so we don't mind driving over to Universal. And since we will be there for hubby's birthday, I thought that would be a nice treat.

I think we're hitting MVMCP on Thursday too and the Candlelight Processional on Tuesday. So now I'm trying to rearrange the dinner plans accordingly. We're planning on doing the CP Dinner Package and that will be at Alfredo's. I was thinking that we'd head to ESPN the night we do MVMCP, but I'm not sure yet. Can't make our ADR's until the end of May anyway, so plenty of time to change our minds.

We definately have to hit CP this time around, we missed it in '05, though we did catch the very end and DW was upset we missed it. We'll probably do the CP dinner package with the Princess Story Book Dinner in Norway.

We ate at Alfredo's in '05 and LOVED it.

If you do ESPN the night of MVMCP then you'll be missing out on a lot of time at MK for the party. You can get into MK with a party pass starting at 4pm and the party ends at midnight. I'm not sure what we'll do for food that day. I didn't have anything planned in '05 and instead did a breakfast and dinner the same day on a different day. I think we got to MK around 6pm last time for the party. I'd like to get there a bit earlier this time to catch a few of the shows and hit the rides a few extra times before the parade and Holiday Wishes. Plus I don't know if the all the kids will make it to the end. I believe we stayed till about 11:30 in '05. We just did a CS for dinner that night. I ate at Pecos Bills. Was able to see the parade twice. Nice spot for the parade in Frontierland, not much in the way of crowds.

You guys are on the ball with your planning! When do we have to book dining? May? Sea World is fun, We used to have one 30 minutes from here. Alfredos is in MGM isn't it? We wanted to hook up an Italian dinner with Fantasmic.

Alfredo's is at Epcot - in Italy. Mama Melrose's is the one at MGM. Mama's has gotten some fairly negative reviews in the past, but we haven't tried it yet. We're planning on 50's Primetime for MGM, even though it's not part of the Fantasmic package.

Thanks for that tip. Maybe we'll have to do our Chef Mickey's breakfast on the day that we head to MVMCP, so that way dinner will just be a table service. That sounds like a better plan since none of the MK TS places are on our list.

Oh, and yes Tracy, I believe I calculated May 29th as the earliest date we can make our ADR's. Since we'll be on the dining plan, I want to make sure we make ours as soon as we're able and hopefully, won't have to change much. Of course changes in the schedules could throw me off, but we'll see. I also need to remember to keep an eye out over the summer for the Candlelight Processional dinner packages. I'm going to make our Alfredo's ADR in May anyway, but once the CP packages are announced, I'll "upgrade" it.
