It'll be worth it! As long as my kids can hang in there, we will eat (and drink) around the world. We have never done either of the rides back in WS so I am hoping that can buy me some more time!

I would be at the WS no later than 11am-I think they open it a few minutes early for F&W. Your kids might enjoy doing a few Kim Possible Missions.

Lucky pin winners, did the offer come via email or snail mail?

My FD pin came through an email I got from Disney Destinations on 7/12. There was no mention of FD but the email was telling me about the resort (POR) I had called and checked pricing on that week. I had put a hold on it but it had expired. There was a phone number for reservations with the email and I used that to call and check pricing on another resort. Low and behold...the CM told me there was a FD pin code for me!!

My advice, call about a reservation and even if there is no pin code, put a hold on it. See if you get any emails and if you do, call again!

Other factors that may generate a pin code based upon my Disney v-k profile: Be from the right state (me - PA) or a repeat customer (we've been more than 6x) or visiting again in a short period (13 months between trips for us).

Good luck to everyone still waiting! If I had a FairyGodmother, I'd wish pin codes for everyone!

We would like to book Nov 6 -11th. Right now we are hoping to find a PIN a CODE or a discount something.

We are Florida Residents and have a Disney Visa, so far don't see any deals.

That would be pretty awesome if true. I'll have to go with my "Plan C" on that if the dates are correct...though the dates are exactly as I expected them to be. We arrive November 10th, which means "room only" until 11/13 and then package for 7 nights (11/13 to 11/20) for the free dining. However, the *would* mean we can upgrade to a MOD, which would be great.

Any word on if there going to make people buy the photobook on this one?

I sooo hope you got some good inside info here Danny25!! This will work perfectly as we will check in on Nov 19th! If what I've read from others is true, that means we'll have free dining for the entire week of Thankgiving too! Whoop whoop! It also means we get to stay on site instead of having to opt for an off site hotel to save money. I've done the math and with the free dining for 3 adults & 1 child to have at least one nice or character meal a day, we can't beat the free dining deal by staying elsewhere.

Does anyone know how they usually announce? Is it automatically available (via the promo code) first thing that morning? Or will something be posted on Disney's website first before we could try for the discount?

We've already got our room reservation and tickets booked. All I'll have to do is have the free dining offer added now.

Today is my anniversary- I couldn't think of a better gift than having this to look forward to.

We were planning on going Nov. 26-29 and that would have been the perfect three nights needed. But now it's not going to start until the 27th! Oh well, we'll just not check in until the 27th and then stay until the 30th (I can get $10 cheaper flights home on the 30th anyway!)

Does anything know (or think I guess would be better at this point) what the base ticket is going to be for this package?

Check my PTR thread (Post #17) for details on how to handle this. (We have the same dates.)

But the short version:

Book room-only for Nov 11th and 12th.
Book Package for Nov 13th - 19th.

You can pick up your tickets on the 11th @ guest services. However, your dining plan won't start until you re-check in on the 13th. (Expect LONG lines on the 13th, unless you get up super-early, which I will be doing!)

Sounds like a pain in the butt! So I already have reservations, so what should I do now? Call and do the split stay or wait until they officially announce free dining, if indeed it does happen?

And just so I make sure I am reading this right..if I do a split stay I can still get my park tickets ahead of time but I will have to go back on the 13th to get new tickets with the dining added?

I am totally new to this, and with the new FD option- I'm not sure if I qualify for any of it.

We're checking in Nov 5th, which is the last day of one of the promo periods.

Would we qualify for 1 day of FD (which isn't worth adding it for one day), or would we qualify for our whole stay?
