The best that anyone has been able to determine...yes, they are random. I do see a lot of people on this Nov board who have saved vacation packages and then got November offers. Seems like they're just starting to come out for Nov and Dec.

Just called Disney reservations using a phone number from a Disney Destination email I had received on 7/12. No free dining was advertised in the email but when I called to book, I was told I had a PIN with FREE DINING!!! :yay:

We are going from Nov. 3 - Nov. 12. It is free quick service dining with a value or moderate resort, free dining plus with a deluxe resort. You can upgrade the QSD to Dining Plus for about $10 per day if you are booking a value or moderate.

I AM SOOOO HAPPY!!!! I can FINALLY start planning!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

Congrats! :cool1:

Care to share that phone number?

Which do you think is a busier week: Jersey Week, or the full week BEFORE Thanksgiving week?

Pete - I read your PTR --- love, Love, LOVED it. We think alike. I have a friend who has a daughter that is the spitting image of your daughter.

I called also and was told there is nothing still for me. I'm happy for you! The CM said she wasn't surprised there wasn't anything, since they haven't really released anything recently. :confused3

What kills me is I took a friend last year on a "once in a lifetime" trip and she keeps getting pins and they even sent one in her name to my house!

oooooh! Im getting so excited! We'd like to upgrade to deluxe, not sure if free dining will do enough, but hoping for some discount!!! Checking every day!

This years' dates are 12/3 to 12/10.

That's what I was trying to say, lol...maybe I'm weird about what I call the 1st week of a month? December 1-3 are the first week of December IMO. So I was calling December 4-10 the 2nd week and saying Pop Warner started on the saturday before. I may be the only one who does this, but to me that's the 2nd week. :confused3 At any rate, it definitely starts the 1st saturday of December (and continues on into the next week) because that's the day we usually run into the Pop Warner folks (and usually we are checking out that day or the very next morning so its all good for us!).

I called today to check if there were any pins for me and had nothing. :sad2: It was a long wait for a CM and when I finally got through she sounded annoyed that I was calling to ask her to check for a pin code. I'm sure I was the hundredth call asking the same question. She gave me a well rehearsed line saying "if and when Disney offers any specials the first place you will find them is on the Disney website" I wonder if they are cracking down on CM's that slip info to the public too early and they are all being told to refer people to the specials page of the Disney site?

I hung up and laughed- I've always found out about discounts here on the DIS first. :rotfl:

I called today and they said there was a discount attached to my name. She wouldn't tell me what it was though :confused3 She said the computer just applies the discount. My dates are 11/6-11/11 they quoted me $2368 at POFQ for 2 adults, 2 kids, 5 day hoppers, DDP and ins. Is that any good?

I'm coming up with $2837 for your dates with what you've described so you are saving almost $500. Just curious, are you only taking 2 of you kids? We have 3 kids and usually stay at POR.

No, I am bringing all 3 kids. My parents are coming with us so my oldest will sleep in their room. Hopefully we will get connecting rooms. I was thinking POR but the rep on the phone said to stay at POFQ because they just put queen beds in all the rooms.

I figured it was something like that. After I posted my reply I was thinking that I hope that didn't come across the wrong way...you know the DIS police on here (mugs, room capacity, etc.) LOL my kids would disown me if I left one of them home while we went to Disney. I'm hoping they put queen size beds in POR soon too!

Our dates are also starting 11/10.....never thought about Veteran's Day!!! Ok.....all of you who have been there before over that weekend, tell me what kind of crowds are we to expect. :confused3
I was there Veteran's Day in 2008. Crowds were pretty managable except World Showcase on the weekend. It was insane how wall to wall busy it was with folks trying to get in on the last weekend of the food & wine fest.

Hey stranger! When are you planning on for Nov? Do we get to overlap if you go?
I'm going too early to see you. I'll be there 11/10 to 11/15.

Thanks for the info!! We'll try to avoid WS over the weekend! :thumbsup2 But you know we'll have to go just out of curiosity! :rotfl:

We are booked for Nov 4-10, 2012. There are 5 of us, so FD or an awesome Pin code would be awesome!!

Save yourself! It looked like this and got even busier. Even the rest rooms had long lines.

We plan to be at WS that last weekend as it was the only time that worked for us, but my goal is to get to the WS when it opens and leave VERY soon after. I won't wait around for the insanity. It will be a pool afternoon, me thinks!

I thought so. Dang it! ;)

Sounds like the last weekend of F&W is as bad as the first. Our last trip ended on the first weekend so we hit the first Sat of it. Was in line at Canada at smack dab opening and tried to work our way through rather quickly before things got too crazy, but by halfway around the "world" the lines were pretty big.
