ok, trying to catch up on this thread....

desperately trying for a code for November 6th-12th....

Was there last year this week, and FD was blocked out, but we got a discount on room only.....would LOVE an upgrade! IF we get a pin, we will upgrade from value to Poly club level!!! Praying it's meant to be! ANy rumors out there?

The dates apply to "arrival date" so as long as 11/30 is part of the offer then you will be fine.

Obsessing, as usual, as to whether I could do better with any codes that may come out..

I have come to the realization that I may have done well and can therefore stop obsessing...Whatever will I do????

I was wondering that too. I can't find any discounts for that time period yet. Historically, it is a bit too early for any to be announced.

I called yesterday and told him I heard of a code DY9. He checked it out and applied it to the first half of a split stay. AK 11-13 to 11-16. Saved $540. Which breaks down to 40 % off for us. He checked and said I couldnt use it for the 2nd reservation at Poly from 11-16 t0 11-20. I just tried calling to see if does work after reading about it here. I think it expires on the 30th though.

Oh - I just looked back out my old email and found that I got this same offer via PIN code....oh well we had not decided to go yet when we got it.

So before I even begin to call...The DY9 code was not good for the "Jersey Week" right? We are going 11-7 to 11-15?

I would check about the Jersey Week question. I just called to extend our stay and the CM found us some code that gave me 40% off from Oct 23 - Nov 4. Since it seems to work for dates before and after yours it's worth a shot, right?

I just called again on the DY9 code since others are getting it. Well she asked how I found a code and I told her from a "friend". She returns to tell me that my friend must have been at a resort at the time because its the only way to use it. Then she says "nice try though". Kind of took it as a jab at me, but hey it never hurts to try.

DY9 does not work for Jersey week. I'm hoping for some kind of a discount for that week but at least DY9 was able to cover us from the 13th to the 19th.

I got my 40% discount on the Poly for November back at the end of January. It expired at the end of February! For those of you that were asking.

You can't share that pin with me, can you? I'm looking for a pin that will work Nov. 16-20 at Deluxe resorts, room only.

I could but there are two problems:

1. It was addressed to me and unless I am staying with you there is no way you could use it. The pin codes are assigned to certain people and are not transferable.

2. It expired at the end of February. Even if it could be transferred you could not use it. All reservations had to be booked by Feb 28, 2011.

This code is a bounceback offer. Those who are getting agents to use it are not supposed to be using it. It is for those who are currently staying on property at Disney who want to book for next trip. I know there are some who claim to have gotten it to work, but that's not what this code was intended for. You can try and call and see if you can get it to work, but I'm betting against it happening. Some have claimed it was for a percentage off, other claim it was for free dining. I think that they have gotten a cast member who has applied a different pin or code and not necessarily the DY9. Good luck in whatever you decide to try.
