Hey, anybody else or their kids getting sick this week? I woke up yesterday with a sore throat. Today achey bruisy all over and a worse sore throat. DH has had a cold now for 2 weeks and it's finally just wearing off. I'd love to go back to bed, but it's a PD Day for Both Catholic and Public Board schools today, so I have a HOUSE FULL of KIDS! Gotta keep em busy. I'm going to demand my two teenagers get working on that FE today!

Hey, anybody else or their kids getting sick this week? I woke up yesterday with a sore throat. Today achey bruisy all over and a worse sore throat. DH has had a cold now for 2 weeks and it's finally just wearing off. I'd love to go back to bed, but it's a PD Day for Both Catholic and Public Board schools today, so I have a HOUSE FULL of KIDS! Gotta keep em busy. I'm going to demand my two teenagers get working on that FE today!

All of us have been sick for over 2 wks now. All but one kid has had a round of antibiotics but they are all still hacking. I hope it all runs it's course before vacation. I have one more stinking character to embroider on my FE and my sewing machine started going crazy. I need to try to figure that out today.

I called the doctor yesterday to see if the kids could get flu shots. No such luck as they are not doing it until Nov....

Guess I will be taking them to Acme or Walgreens at $25 a pop! lol The last thing I need is the flu when we want to board!!

Do you have a CVS with a minute clinic near you? and insurance? My docs office ran out of shots. I had the kids scheduled several times and they kept getting sick by time I got the last two healthy enough to get the shot they were out. So I got 2 done at the pedi office but 2 without. I took myself and my 6yo to CVS expecting to pay the twenty some dollars they are charging but they asked for my insurance card so I figured I would just have to pay my copay which is $15 but when it was done they said the insurance covered it 100%. Now I just have to get the baby done because at CVS they have to be 18 months and all the others and the urgent cares they have to be 4yo or 18yo. I found a health department clinic in my area that I can take her to but not till next wk. I'm so annoyed because I didn't want to have to do it so close to vacation but I've tried everywhere and noone will do a 15 month old. If you do it has to be one with a minute clinic the others have a company come in so they can't charge the insurance.

Thankfully all of my kids and my husband and I have been healthy (knock on wood). I normally get sick either right before we leave on vacation or within a couple days into the vacation. I don’t know why it always happens that way. I have been taking Airborne to try and keep me from getting sick this time and so far it is helping but we will see as time goes by. I hope everybody is feeling better really soon. tjbaggott, thank you once again!

Any moms (or dads) going at the trip alone, and anyone travelling solo, let me know if you want to get together at any of the adult activities. They are a lot more fun as a group. Actually, this would include anyone who wants to get together!

All of us have been sick for over 2 wks now.

Us too.

I was sick last week, and DD was sick 2 weeks ago (103 fever, sore throat, achy body, etc.) We're both much better now, thankfully. I kept thinking at least we got being sick over with and will be good for the cruise, especially beause I didn't buy trip insurance.

Hope that everyone is on the mend and is feels better soon!

Looks like our girls all have something in common. Ashley loves both Harry Potter and Twilight. She was reading the Twilight series before it became trendy LOL. She loves to read.

I'm a Twilight girl, too. Team Edward, baby! (...or should I say "Team Robert Pattinson"!) I can't wait until New Moon comes out on 11/20. That'll give me something else to look forward to after the cruise; maybe that will help any cruise withdrawal...LOL

I am just finishing the 4th book in the series, Breaking Dawn; I have maybe 50 pages left. I have been reading these for so long, I don't know what I will read now once I finish the series that I will like as much. I think I will have Twilight withdrawal, too!

I have a soon to be 7 year old too, so maybe they will stick together in the clubs. My DD is pretty fickle when it comes to the clubs though. She will give me a hard time going in, but then a hard time coming out!

What I do for magnets is I print my graphics onto white cardstock, them have them laminated. Then I put adhesive peel and stick magnets onto the backs. Voila, my door magnets and it was less costly than the price of magnetic paper was here in our stores.

In there check out the REQUESTS section to see what I can make, then choose whatever and as many as you want. I can personalize them and pm them back to you. I just bought my magnets from Wally World during my lunch hour yesterday. (It's alway's an "experience" shopping at the one near me, and yesterday was no exception!)

Their number is up to 9 now. LOL! They are making my poor TA crazy though. We have changed around their room assignments quite a few times, but I nailed them down today so we could get the booking legit and paid for. 4 adults, 4 and 5 ys old brothers, a 4 year old girl, and infant and another stinky teen for my DD. She drives her crazy though. The prices are about as low as they get with the GTY 12s. It is nice booking not to far out. I can't remember how long I had to wait for the PC cruise. The time since has of course flown by...

And yes, I am very much the night owl. You will see me wondering the ship whenever. Especially since I went without the veranda.

We cruised in 2000 and 2001 with 2 and then 3 kids respectively. However, we have 7 now. And they are all looking forward to this. The oldest ones barely remember anything from their cruise but I'm hoping to build a lot of great memories with this one. So I'm hoping to plan the trip to the best I can.

I am hoping someone might be able to keep copies of the Daily Navigators and scan them to email when they get home? I can send along my email if someone can help.
