probably. im watching the beatles at shea stadium.

you can barely hear them over the crowd! john is introducing a song, and hes like, oh! look at 'er! hah. and then you see this girl running towards the stage and being taken down by guards :lmao:

Why do people think that there are certain things husbands should do and certain things wives should do? I think when people work with strengths and weaknesses in marriages, it works much better. My parents just had their 30th anniversary in June and my mom will clean the garage and my dad will clean bathrooms. There aren't defined "jobs" and they help each other out...however, there are some things that my mom does better than my dad and does those things. I think it's great when two people can work together in a cohesive manner rather than fight over petty things. A "friend" of mine has decided to divorce her husband beause he doesn't work enough for her liking and even though he's getting like 70 hours a week helping take care of the 6 kids AND cleaning the house because she's too busy going out drinking...he is getting the shaft for her laziness. I can honestly say that I'm a cynic when it comes to relationships-far too many people are willing to take take take but aren't willing to give of themselves.

You Princess, seem to have your head on straight and so does your future husband so I think you two sound really great together! I wish you two the best in your relatonship and I'm seriously giddy for you. I can't wait to see pictures!!!

You remind me alot of my Aunt/mum's best friend

She is so supportive of us, but in her fashion told me "you deserve an equal change to be miserable":lmao: She has had 3 not so nice husbands, but loves Joshua :)

And on that friend, sounds like you should scoop that man up! :rotfl:

Oh my gosh!! Too funny!! Let me tell you a story:

Years ago I was actually dating this guy. It wasn't serious, just a friend thing, he lived in Chicago, I lived here. Anyway, I had a girlfriend who was notorious for taking (sleeping with) her friends husbands/boyfriends....seems to be the thing to do down there with all the girls?? I don't get it? So one day (maybe 2/3 weeks after he and I started dating) she calls me and says "Hi...Umm...don't be mad, but I accidently kissed Al" and I said "No worries....you kiss every person who crosses your path". The next week she calls me and says "Hi...Umm...don't be mad but I accidently slept with him". Again, not a big deal because that's how she was. At this point he and I had talked and we were friends and had dropped the dating thing because I'm apparently too perky in the morning. A week or so later she called and said "Hi..umm...don't be mad but we're dating now". I was okay with it until I went down there to hang out with everybody and when I got there, he was a major butt-head to me and wouldn't talk to me. I'm guessing my "friend" had told him some things. Whatever, I got even and made him jealous that night, that's for sure! Okay, fast forward to about a month down the road, I get a phone call and she said "Hi...umm...don't be mad, but he asked me to marry him". They were married a few months later. They've been married for 4ish years or maybe 5. I do know in that time, she has cheated on him with at least 20-30 different people.

He is really a great guy and just wanted to be there for her and her kids and he worked his butt off so she wouldn't have to and did so much for them. All he did was give love but I think by this point, he's been beat down in an emotional sense. I wish the best for him though. He's just not for me after all that. Heck, that friend would probably come try to kill me for touching her man! Hahahha.

That is a pretty amazing story, but I still stand by my statement:lmao:

So I have yet to do anything all day, this is not good

I'm straightening my hair right now to GIVE the appearance that I did something. Nevermind that I can't claim I went anywhere (car is covered in snow), there are no clean clothes, a few dishes in the sink and my bed isn't made. But at least if I throw on some real clothes, it's a bit more convincing.

When you have to convince someone you cleaned (a DF maybe:rolleyes1) Spray some windex on something and wipe it, the smell makes people think you have been cleaning.......

Too funny. I only have to convince my daughter. She'll come home and say "Mom, what did you do all day because you sure didn't clean". What 9 year old does that?!?!
