After the girl who tried to win the car by camping in it and having her bf/room mate air their dirty laundry here, I'm not lookig to see other people's issues. This is my happy place!

(Please don't suck me in, please don't...I think I can, I think I can...)

Be strong!!! Make us all proud! :flower: :goodvibes

Good morning everyone!!! I am having a fantastic day. (fellas - baby update following...bypass if it might be TMI! :teeth: )

Went to the doctor and had an ultrasound yesterday and then regular doctor appt today. Little PJ is growing like a weed and VERY healthy!!! :cloud9: They also approved a c-section so I can get the baby here and have the cyst out at the same time and recover from both on maternity leave - double yeah! Didn't want to leave hubby home with a 2 boys (almost 4 and almost 6) and a 2 month old baby and have to be inthe hospital for 3-4 days for surgery in a couple of months! Yippie! (didn't really WANT a section - but I can't imagine being away from her for 3-4 days when she is 2 months old...not to mention feeding issued, etc).

Back to your normally scheduled programming!!!

ok - so I have "tripitis" We have been home and really, I have about 1 more month where I can travel, but its KILLING me not to go to Disney until December! Someone quick - give me a trip report STAT and let me live through you! (the boys want to go to the beach....I might sneak in a weekend trip to St. George Island in Florida....but gonna have to be soon because school is starting! ugh!)

HAve a happy Thursday!

Laura

Hey, that's really good news, lllovell! I agree, c-sections are not what most wish for, but that sounds like the best plan for you. I'm glad it'll work out, and hope everything goes smoothly.

All these babies! Since I'm in the baby stage myself right now (already had him, not doing anonther, just to be clear) it's fun to keep up with all of you.

Good news lllovell!

Really sending you all the best that I can on this one.

Sorry to distract folks with that weird thread, but not to worry, the OP pulled the plug. But I did not know about the lady "sleeping in a van down by the river." Do tell!

Well, thats one way to save points on a Friday / Saturday stay - not that Tony needs too - He's just Toot Toot'in along with his bazillion points. (I am SOOO unworthy.)

So Tony, do you book adjoining rooms just to keep the noise level down? Go down every week to use the free laundry? Or just trying to see how many refills it takes to wear a hole in your refillable Mug?

1,000 points! You're my hero! Heck with Rash. Tony's Da Man! (or at least Secretary of Treasury)

Good news Llovell! Sometimes these things happen for a reason. I'm glad that they can do it all with just one operation!

Mrs. Rash: my guess is July 30, 4:31AM (or PM)

Tried to read that thread, but it just didn't feel 'right' to me...hmmmm.

Aardvark!

You are too kind! BTW and totally unrelated, your wishlist for a GV has been approved! ;).

Toot Toot !

-Tony

P.S. llovell, I can trade a C-Section for DVC points! (My wife is an OB/GYN, no really, she is!) Hmmm, 280 points for a free section sound good?

I'm crushed. First of all, I tell you you're like family to me and get squat for points.

Now you tell me your wife doesn't work for Darth Vader???? (You may have missed this. It was in reference to her new laser.)

Is there a cry room near the closet?

lllovell - That is good news! It does solve a lot of problems.

FYI - Here's the thread I was talking about:

She's entered the car

Read pg 1 to get a feel for things. It follows to the end of the contest ~pg 30. #442 starts to get weird. It's been edited, so you have to read the quote at 461.

Then go back to 448 where there's a link to a custody battle and rad from there. Very odd, but you asked for it. (Do I get points now Tony?? ;) )

BLASPHEMY!!! How about the baby instead? Like I am going to trade DVC points for that! HA! (ack - ok - I shouldn't kid about such thing..she is MINE MINE!!! ALL MINE!!! She is my chance at balancing the testosterone in my house! So far, its one female cat and the rest are all boys...hubby, two sons, two dogs, and one other cat)

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Just had to share my good news. :teeth:

(CB - you were so right....things ARE shifting!)

lol @ the laser...when you mentioned Darth Vader - I was thinking the fact that Amidala didn't know she was carrying TWINS in that movie...ummmm don't they have prenatal care when technology is far enough advanced that robots do surgery? lol (ok - yes - I am a geek :3dglasses )

ummmm.... Some of us have not yet made it out to that show. Could you please start mumbling about these things? ;)

Don't read the thread if you're scared. Its what turned me of to board soap operas. I just wanted to see if she won the car and I was scarred for life.

hahah! Well you KNOW she has twins! Luke and Leia! But I will refrain from all other *smacking my forehead* moments from the latest Star Wars until you have had a chance to see it. :) Come on down and we will go on Saturday! The theater has a/c :cool1: so we have seen lots of movies this summer! lol

I am teasing about the thread. I learned well before joining the DIS that there are people on the net that like attention and what not. I am just happy that for the most part, our little DVC segment of the DIS is drama free. :teeth:

You are in so much trouble now Mister! :p But then...I am often left wondering where one ended and the other begins. :rotfl:

Trouble! What do you think the T stands for in TW1! :rotfl: :rotfl: Nobody knows the trouble I'm in!

I'm just starting to re-enter the Star Wars Saga. DS is going on 8 and is consumed with the story. We rented 4 and 5 last weekend will do 6 and 1 this weekend. (He's begging for the Darth Vader helmet we saw at Target)

I sit and watch these movies with the recurring images of Bill Murray singing "Star Wars, Nothing But Star Wars, Those Beautiful Star Wars..." and Billy Crystal holding bialys against his head doing Princess Leia impersonations. Well, they give me a great reason to enjoy a yuengling.

Remind me, is this the movie I turn the sound off and play Dark Side of the Moon?

Baby Rash (Evan) arrived 7/27 6:07 pm. Mother and son are doing well. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. :)

Woo Hoo! Great news! Thanks for sharing! Best to you and the Mrs.

lol - nope - that is Wizard of Oz

My 5 year old is a Star Wars nut! much like his mommy...the 3 year old likes the Clone Wars cartoons, but there is too much talking for him in the movies as of right now. He will watch but is quickly bored. I am glad you are enjoying them with your son! I get a kick out of introducing them to things that were around when I was a child and seeing how they like them. (*sigh* but I was older of course lol but he seemed ready to me and LOVED the last movie...its was a great mommy/son afternoon out!)
