Since we have gotten home from our April trip I have spent a great deal of time reading this thread and the famous Hanname thread.

Man how I wished we had had the time to meet you all at the pool at BW. You sound like such a fun group.

I can be there in 4 hours - you game?

Funny you should suggest that. The last two weeks have been really stressful at work for both my husband and myself.

A week ago Friday I suggested when I got home from work that we throw a few things together and drive straight through and head down there for the long weekend.

It is about a 17 hour drive for us. I told him the parks would be crowded, but I did not care if all we did was sit on the balcony and watch the parking lot!!

But then we came to our senses

We leave in 90 days for two weeks at OKW.

And in 171 days we head back down again. This trip we are taking my older sister who has never been!!!!

Wow - lucky you! We were at BWV in Feb. for 6 days, and we got to enjoy ONE DAY at VWL over Memorial Day weekend (we were in FL for a wedding). With a little one due in August, we're lucky if we get back by next spring. I don't know how I'm gonna make it that long. Until then, I have to live vicariously through everyone on these boards, so be sure to post a trip report when you return. Have fun!

I believe you mean filly or colt - foal is a general term for young horse offspring. And yes, we know - it's a colt. And thank you!

I know we've been kidding around but something is up with Tony/Greenban, I am convinced he didn't just "take a break". He has a lot of points and was very active on the rent/trade board, so even if he got tired of these boards he'd be somewhere. He's nowhere. I hope he's OK, I wish he would contact someone.

I hate to bring this up, but since you know Tony's last name and city of residence, have you gone online to the local paper's website and checked to see if his name is listed anywhere? I don't want to be the voice of doom and gloom, but there could have been a death in the family that might show up in the obit's. I truly hope that's not the case...but it might be worthwhile to check. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.

wtpclc said he was last on the boards over a week ago. That's interesting, but only makes the mystery more mysterious. So that means someone actually logged on as Greenban only a little over a week ago?

BTW, congrats to our talking horse friend for the new rash on the way!

I am beginning to worry. idratherbe... it's possible that the message could have been left at the wrong house, right? It's too sad to think about any other options.

Rash - Been meaning to post my congrats too, but couldn't decide which thread to post on! So, are are the offspring of talking horses also gifted with speech?

Thanks. I was also wondering how long it's been since Dr. T was on the boards. I did a search on Dr. Tomorrow's "2500th Post" thread and his last post was late April I think, but I'm not sure how to check his profile for logins. Started a thread to see if anyone has heard from him. He owes us a trip report too, unless I missed it somehow.

Yes, I've been meaning to check on Dr. T too. If you just click on his name, the last login should be on teh right, not far below his name.

I took your suggestion Caypso a go go, but came up empty. Hopefully that's a good thing! The problem is though, that I don't know what town he lives in, only that it's in Northern NJ. I do know his complete name, but it's sort of common.

So although I have an idea of where he lives, I don't know exactly. For all I know I left the phone message at the wrong house. The name was right and the area made sense, but it may not have been him at all. The phone machine had one of those computer sounding messages, so I couldn't judge anything by that. It's entirely possible there is someone who got a message regarding "Dis Boards" and "The pool at BWV" who had absolutely no clue what it was all about. If it was me and I got a call like that I'd be thoughtful enough to return the call, but I realize not everyone would bother.

I'm sure we all know that just because someone has activity on their account doesn't mean that person was actually online (Hanname!). So the May 27th "activity" may or may not have been Greenban himself.

I soooooo hope this has a happy ending, and I hope we find out what's going on soon.
