Hi all,

Calypso a go go and I did some research using what I did know about Tony/Greenban and we found the medical school where he teaches. I am sure I found the right person, because even though his name is common there was a photo of him on the site of the school. Also his email at the school is listed as Greenban@(the name of the school). So there's no way it's the wrong guy.

I decided to call the school yesterday and ask for him, assuming if he was ill or otherwise unavailable they would say so. The reply I got was "He is usually here on Tuesday, would you like to leave a message?". I said no, I'd call back Tuesday (today). I called today and they said something like "He comes in sometimes on Tuesday but not always". This time I left a message.

But since he ignored my call to his house I have a feeling he'll ignore this one too. If I get any more info I'll let youy all know, but at least we know he is still on the planet--somewhere. I have no idea why he up and left us, I've done all I could (with a lot of help from calypos a go go) to figure this thing out. Perhaps there is a good reason for all him disappearing so suddenly, but if not it's sad (and a little annoying) that someone who was so involved here would just leave without even a goodbye or to let us know he's OK. I really was convinced something dire happened to him, as I thought he seemed like a considerate soul when we met. Another example of me being too trusting I suppose, I never learn.

Thanks for the update. I'm so glad to hear that he's ok. There still may be extenuating circumstances. I am a worrier and I tend to care about people more than they realize. He may not realize how much concern you've had about him. Or maybe he just does not want to talk about what may be going on in his life.

I agree Mar - don't assume the worst! If he is the guy you think he is (and that the rest of us miss so badly), the I am sure there is a reason he left us.

Either way, as you said, at least we know he is alive and kicking. That does relieve some of the anxiety.

Actually Calypso and I are considering opening up a detective agency--Hanname and Hanname, Inc., specialists in DIS-appearing people.

Yopu guys need a crime-fiighting horse for your detective agency? With the price of gas these days, it would save you a bundle. Plus, I could eavesdrop on the bad guys when noones' around, since they don't know I can understand them. I guess the fact that there's a horse in the room for no apparent reason might be a little suspicious. LOL maybe it should have been a message like that! But naw, the message I left just said everyone here was concerned about him, there was a huge thread discussing his disappearance, and we were hoping he'd let us know if he was alright.

If that doesn't work and I don't hear back I will take Rash's suggestion (see above post LOL).
