not understanding capt, jacks...plz help

ok im on the ddp...lets say i want to order the steak dinner and add the twin lobster tails for $12.00 more do i have to pay out of pocket for the lobster tails or is it included in the ddp?

We stayed on the DDP in August of 2006. The server at Captain Jacks gave us the option of 2 lobtster tails or Steak and 1 lobster tail. There was no additional price we had to pay. My 10 year old was in Heaven. We actually ate there twice during the trip.

Here's hoping for free DDP in 2007

I am confirming this. We had the same experience. I got the twin lobster tails and dh had the surf and turf. A great value for 1 TS credit.

Captain Jack's does a lot of things that you'll find at no other participating restaurant. Generally speaking, extras and add-ons are charged-for separately.

Could you only get the add on with steak? Or did I misunderstand your post? I thought I read that you could get the lobster with any entree.

BTW the “Add-A-Tail” is coming off the menu in a week or two. And we don't have steak on the menu.

Also, CJ’s is the only restaurant in DTD owned by Disney, CJ’s in not an Operating Participant.

I got this off the Disboard Menu, I don't eat seafood but I love steaks.
We have a ADR for our first day, and there is nothing else on the menu I would eat,.
Are you sure they don't serve the the Top Sirloin anymore?

I don't eat shellfish either, but if they have pot roast now, they may still have chicken and/or ribs, some other non-seafood entrees.

Who usually updates menus on the DIS? Guests who come back from vacation? Perhaps Paddy could provide a more current menu for them to update the website here?

We were there in November and steak was not on the menu, but pot roast was. It was delicious! Plus, I was able to add a lobster tail, that my DH ate, along with the two he ordered.
