Not seeing Fantasmic...Tower time?

My family is going to MGM in the evening, but not planning on seeing Fantasmic. If the park is open until 8 pm and Fantasmic is scheduled at 7pm, is this usually a good time to ride the Tower of Terror or RnRoller Coaster without waits? Are they open until 8pm?

It depends on the time of year and whether it's a weekend or not. A non-holiday, weekday should be in the 15 to 30 minute range. Check the tip-board before walking all the way down Sunset Blvd., to see if Fastpasses are still available. You can always pick up a Fastpass earlier, then eat and come back to ride.

When we were there in June, we saw Fantasmic and then went over to see what the wait was for ToT. It was a walk-on . We did it twice in a row! I don't know what the wait was during Fantasmic though.

The first hour and last hour the Studios are open are the best times of the day to ride Tower or Coaster.
