Around 220-250 at PVBHow many points are you looking for and where?

Same. I think the ppp might be slightly lower if they got it all in one contract and save on closing costs but it might take a lot longer to find the right deal.At 250, I'd be wiling to piece that together out of two different contracts of 100-150 each.
This one isn't completely stripped.Around 220-250 at PVB
Sorry didn't know.90% gone for this year. Also, might want to edit, cant post active listings
Many if not most contracts for a given resort will be the size that was required for new buyers when the resort was in active sales. For instance, when OKW started sales in 1991, the minimum purchase was 230 points, so it's common to see resale contracts for OKW that are that size. By the time we bought BWV in 1997 I think the minimum was 160 points, so there are a lot of 160-point contracts for BWV floating around out there. I think when Poly opened, the minimum for new buyers was 100 or maybe 150 points, so you'll see many contracts that size. Thus the suggestion to consider buying two contracts that total to the number of points you want - same UY, of course.Around 220-250 at PVB
I think Poly was a 100pt minimum when it went on sale- we bought direct as new members and our contract is 120 there! Many if not most contracts for a given resort will be the size that was required for new buyers when the resort was in active sales. We're in the process of buying a 250 pt contract at PVB, we just passed RofR and now waiting for closing documents, so these contracts do exist, but it wasn't very common.Around 220-250 at PVB
Larger contracts (over about 160) will be harder to sell in a bad market, but should be better values if you’re the buyer. If they are very rare at PVB, maybe it flips the dynamics, but if the price is similar, I’d always take 2 < 150 point contracts over one > 250 contract. We're in the process of buying a 250 pt contract at PVB, we just passed RofR and now waiting for closing documents, so these contracts do exist, but it wasn't very common.
https://dvcnews.com/dvc-program-men...ty-of-disney-vacation-club-points-by-use-yearOk so you are convincing me we may need to piece together a contract size we want. Is there a more popular use year. I want to stay in the same month obviously so we can combine
I would first ask if there is a set of 2-3 contiguous months when you are pretty sure you will not want to be at WDW. If so, let that drive your UY decision. Is there a more popular use year.
Interesting that the demember UY is so prevalent at all of the resorts I wonder if walking was taken into consideration for these UY distributionshttps://dvcnews.com/dvc-program-men...ty-of-disney-vacation-club-points-by-use-year
That's the best data we have - it is old, and Poly is in active sales, so the distribution of UYs could change. That said, looks like Dec UY was the pretty clear leader at that time. Check out dvcforless.com - you can look at all Poly contracts that have been listed - toggle on the switch to see those that have already sold. You can probably get a sense of which UYs have been most prevalent.
I doubt most buyers give a whole lot of thought to UY until after they’ve bought. I could see December being pretty common for many people for a few reasons. One, it’s as close to being lined up with the calendar year as you can get which is just mentally easier to think about. Two, the immediate preceding 4 months are arguably the height of hurricane season where you are most likely to have your travel plans interrupted. Three, Sep/Oct/Nov are the first three full months of the school year, and most people with kids are unlikely to schedule vacations during that time.Interesting that the demember UY is so prevalent at all of the resorts I wonder if walking was taken into consideration for these UY distributions
Most people ive heard talk about December uy complain about it and say it confuses them and walking is pretty much nonexistent. I guess these are things that are found out after purchasingI doubt most buyers give a whole lot of thought to UY until after they’ve bought. It’s confusing but I really think it’s only confusing if you have another UY. If you have just December it’s easy. Most people ive heard talk about December uy complain about it and say it confuses them and walking is pretty much nonexistent.
