Not ready to go...

I was not ready to go...I left anyways thinking that maybe my mind would change. I've been here about a month and will probably be leaving in 2 weeks or so. I gave it a shot and won't regret having tried it. I was even told that if I wanted to, I can always apply again when I am ready (I will have rehire status due to being a good little girl haha). Sometimes trying new things, even when you aren't ready, is a good idea. Sometimes it will work out, other times you just need to try again. I will probably end up applying again when i feel ready to be here. I just needed more time and know better than to stay here when I am unhappy. That was something that the guy I talked to pointed out. Most people would just stay and trudge through the months thinking I don't like it here whereas I addressed this issue and am working to fix it even if it means coming back at a later date.
So worst case scenario, if you get down here and after time still don't feel quiet ready to be here, you can always try again another time. The college program will always be here

Yes, I appreciate you sharing this! I ended up coming down. My roommate left early on her last CP and she's back! I'm getting really homesick, and I'm starting to really not like my work location =[ Nobody really talks to me, but I'm at least friends with my roommates so far. I hope it will get better. I've only been here a week. I don't really want to leave, I hope that if work doesn't get any better, that I'll have the opportunity to change lands or something. I might look into that a little more.

Other than that, I'm having a wonderful time!

Yes, I appreciate you sharing this! I ended up coming down. My roommate left early on her last CP and she's back! When I left for the CP I cried hysterically for the first two hours of the drive over my boyfriend. It was pretty pathetic. Lol
