Not impressed with The Riviera

We also wonder about the wait from Riviera for the skyliner in the morning but we have taken it from Caribbean beach, which is the main hub, before and that's not terrible. So we may end up walking (gasp!) to the hub to go from there.

I thought they were keeping every X car from CBR empty to facilitate Riviera loading; has that not been the case?

The hallways at Kidani, Jambo House, and the Boardwalk seem like they go on forever!
along with WL’s infamous redrum hallway; you are ‘picking’ on my homes :rolleyes1 . As we wind our way back to our rooms after long park days, DH always ponders if I purposely picked those resorts for the long hallways.

They should make the sidewalk downhill both ways. Apparently, when my dad was growing up, he had to walk through 3 feet of snow, uphill both ways, to get to school. I'm sure that we can figure out the downhill both ways.
I think my Dad went to that same school!

This occurred to me too, everyone has to get off at CB so constant line moving at least. That would be a ab actual walk though.....seems like rental cars are going to pick up popularity again with magic express going away. My preference has always been on sight transportation but the busses are certainly hit and miss right now and the wait to enter the parking lots is pretty low right now.

When I was there a week or so ago, there wasn't a line at Riviera station when I rode to CB for HS rope drop (it was about 7:30am for a 9am open). We lined up at CB and I was only 20 or so parties back. Things piled up more behind me. I made it into HS before they let the cars in and I lucked out with the temp check tents as they opened a new one right as I got there. I was first in line for MMRR.

Epcot opening had a line that was about 20-30 minutes. A lot of that is due to not a ton of free cars from CB. I was also a little late for that as it was already around 11am.

Bus always got me to the park (AK or MK) quickly and in time for getting in to the park in the first group.

That stuff has never bothered me. We request to be at the far end when at Kidani. This summer we requested the furthest cabin at CCV. We aren't park open to park close people, though.

Never fails to amaze me that folks can walk all day at Disney parks, but yet have to complain about a hill or hallway at the resorts.
