Your plans look great so far! ASMovies looks really cute, but if I ever stay in a value again, it will be Pop, just for the location! Or the new Animation Inn, when that is finished! :cool1:

I can't believe you're only doing one Epcot day!!! It's my favorite park, but then again, I guess if you have kids, there really isn't that much for them to do for 2 days. :)

Love the Shelby pics! :lovestruc

Koby wants us to make the rounds in all the value resorts, saving Sports for last.

Epcot is somewhat boring for us. Besides the few rides in FW, they were not too impressed. I would like to actually walk the countries next time though!

Okay I made it. ;)

:welcome:

LOVE the Shelby pics, of course! :lovestruc I am so sorry, I didn't get her dress in the mail last week because I was so busy with work, but it will be on it's way this week!!

I like your tentative schedule. I think Epcot is definitely a one day park when you've got smaller kids. :thumbsup2

That's ok girl! I know how crazy life can get!

The only things they like to ride is Test Track, Figment, Spaceship Earth & Mission Space, other than that they are pretty bored at Epcot.

So here are a list of things that we have never done or didn't do last time because Miss Shelby was too scared.

Key code:
NBD: Never Been Done
DDLT: Didn't Do Last Trip

Magic Kingdom:
Walt Disney World Railroad-for me, NBD & DDLT
Peter Pan's Flight-DDLT
Dream Along With Mickey-NBD, just took pics while passing by
Snow White's Scary Adventure-NBD
Dumbo-DDLT
Winnie the Pooh-NBD, but I really don't care for %@#! bear
Astro Orbiter-NBD
Tomorrowland Transit Authority-NBD
Carousel of Progress-NBD
Wishes-NBD

Hollywood Studios:
Sounds Dangerous-NBD
Indiana Jones-NBD
Lights, Motors, Action-NBD

Epcot:
Ellen's Energy Adventure-NBD
Honey I Shrunk the Audience-NBD
The Countries, minus Japan & America-NBD
Maelstrom-NBD
Illuminations-NBD

So what do you think? Are these must see, or did we do well by skipping them?

Let's see, if it were me and I had to do away with any of the things you had listed, these would be it:

Magic Kingdom:

Dream Along With Mickey: You have to sit in the broad open sun to see the show and I would rather be doing something else.

Carousel of Progress: We do it about every other trip. Just an "okay" in our book.

Hollywood Studios:

Sounds Dangerous: The show takes place almost entirely in the dark and, honestly, isn't that great unless you are a Drew Carey fan. And, it's only open seasonly now.

Animal Kingdom:

I love everything about Animal Kingdom....every little trail....every little animal enclosure....every little nook and cranny. I don't want to miss anything at the park.

Epcot:

I like everything you have on your list so I would hope you get to do each thing listed.

I love all the new Shelby pics! Adorable as always. :cloud9:

Here's my thoughts on your list...

MK
I would definitely say Peter Pan, Dumbo and Pooh are all must do's for you next time in Fantasyland. Maybe since Shelby will be a little older she'll be up for it. I've heard Snow White is scary for some kids. Of course Wishes is a must do! It's such a wonderful way to end an evening.

DHS
I've actually never done any of the things you have listed, either. But, I would think Indiana Jones and LMA! would be fun for your boys. I've heard the animation studio is really neat too.

AK
Definitely do the rapids! That's going to be great in June!

EPCOT
You must do Illuminations! It's amazing! Also, I think I would skip HISTA. I did it on our 2009 trip and I hated it. I think it might scare Shelby.

Thanks! Sounds Dangerous was closed when we went. Apparently Summer isn't the right season to go see that one.

I would love to see everything at AK! Maybe next time. Koby is a huge animal lover so I know he would enjoy it.

I am hoping to do all at Epcot that I have listed!

Wishes is definitely a must do! Since Shelby will be older, hopefully I will be able to see it & she can ride all the rides.

We wanted to do LMA! but Koby didn't want to wait 45 minutes for it to start. Same goes for Indiana Jones. I have always wanted to see that one since the Full House episode when D.J. thought it was Steve! We also didn't do ToT last trip, but I could careless if I ever ride that one again!:lmao:

IllumiNations is also a must for next trip, depending on Shelby of course! I was told that HISTA would scare the crap out of some kids, so that might get skipped.

Thanks!!!!

OMG you have to do Carousel of Progress at MK, it's a classic! :cool1: And Wishes???? Another thing you have to do!!!

At DHS you should definitely do Fantasmic, it's adorable, and the kids will love it! If you don't want to wait in the line, do the dinner package! :cool1: I've heard it's worth it, I kind of wish I booked one for November but they sell out fast and I'm probably too late!

I LOVE Epcot, especially the countries, but I can see how the kids might not like them! Although I think they would like Mexico and Maelstrom, they both have boat rides. Maelstrom is definitely better, it's one of my favorite things at Epcot! And Illuminations is AMAZING!!! :woohoo:

Magic Kingdom:
Walt Disney World Railroad- I love it, but I've also loved trains since I was a kid.
Peter Pan's Flight-I think that unless you get a fastpass or the line is extremely short, you can skip it.
Dream Along With Mickey- Unless you get a shady spot or a cloudy day, skip it.
Snow White's Scary Adventure- It's cute.
Dumbo- I actually still haven't done this :lmao:
Winnie the Pooh- I go on this every trip, but I also LOVE Pooh Bear.
Astro Orbiter- If you go, do it at night. It's a GORGEOUS view.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority- I really like this :)
Carousel of Progress- I'd do it just to do it, but you could probably skip it.
Wishes- You've never seen Wishes??? WATCH THEM OMG.

Hollywood Studios:
Sounds Dangerous- It's usually closed, so don't fret if you skip it. Also, the headphones are usually pretty gross.
Indiana Jones- It was fun for me, but I'm also a big action movie dork and love working out how they do the effects.
Lights, Motors, Action- See above.
The Magic of Disney Animation- It's cute, but you could probably skip it. It's mainly a tour with a drawing class at the end.
Fantasmic- It's fun, but if you do it, do the viewing package at one of the restaurants. That way, you don't have to stand in line for hours.

Animal Kingdom:
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail- My mom loved this.
Wildlife Express Train- She liked this, too.
Habitat Habit- And this.
Conservation Station- And this.
Affection Section- This is cute.
Maharajah Jungle Trek- My mom loved this, as well.
Kali River Rapids- It's fun, but depending on the weather, it'll either be a skip it because it's cold or skip it because it's packed.
TriceraTop Spin- I didn't do it because I can't do spinny things.

Epcot:
Ellen's Energy Adventure- Eh, I always skipped it.
Honey I Shrunk the Audience- I think this has actually been replaced by Captain Eo at the moment...
The Countries, minus Japan & America- Do them, definitely!
Maelstrom- Eh, I could skip it.
Illuminations- I love Illuminations, but not as much as I love Wishes!

Thanks! No I have never seen any fireworks show at Disney!

Thanks! The reason I wanted to do the Animation is because my boys love to draw & I figured that they would love that!

You find things!!!!! Who would have thought?!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

So, what did I find you ask? The entire disc all 916 pics of our trip to Disney in 2007! Do you even know how happy I am! THEN I had totally forgotten that I had made a slideshow with them to Disney music & I found that! So do you all want to see some Disney 07 pics?

Dates: December 30, 2006, January 1, 2007-January 4-2007

Yes, you read that right. One day, skip a day & then go back for 4 days! Torture to someone who has never been there!

Plan of attack is:

January 1st-Disney-MGM, yes it was MGM at the time
January 2nd-MK with a 7 am ADR at Chef Mickey's
January 3rd-Richard Petty Driving Experience & Epcot
January 4th-Animal Kingdom

Yay, how fun! I can't wait to hear more about that trip! It's always so much fun to recall all the wonderful memories. :goodvibes
