Hi! My family is taking the Magic to Norway on the 29th. We booked Eurostar tickets out of Ashford at 1O:58. Now I'm hearing it won't be enough time, because it can take three hours to clear the ship. I've sailed with Disney before and they are usually begging you to get off by 9-10. I just cruised on the fantasy a couple weeks ago and were off by 8:30 and even sent out luggage out. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with English port times and clearance?

You could be off up to 10.30am

But you can register to get off early. Normally called early flight.

Please see trip report for details.

We live in the UK, an hour from Dover.

On two cruises disembarking we have been off different times.

Last time the ship was late in,( due 5am) we got in at 6.10am, the first people off were off at 7.30am we watched as we had breakfast. We were able to get off at 8am, and leave at 9am with luggage and home at 10am.

The terminal is smaller than Port Canaveral, so luggage getting off is slow.Often you get off post your breakfast so main breakfast 7am and off at 8am and late was 8.15 and off 9.30am.

Full details and photos and videos in my trip report.

I would say for my next cruise coming down from Scotland we will be in by 5am, last year was from the Baltic and we got high tides and also lots of channel traffic.

Ashford is a quick taxi ride but there were long queues for all transport.

Plan for the potential off getting off later than Port Canaveral.
