I thought somewhere I read where an airline will give you vouchers or something if the price of the flights you have booked drops. Is that true??

Our exact flights went from $269 per person (which I thought was good  ) to $169!!!!

Yes, they will give you a credit voucher toward another flight. I have done this a couple of times.:)

I have gotten vouchers. However, if the lower price is a promotion they will not issue vouchers.

DisneyVillans,

I usually fly Northwest so I'm not sure of the other airlines, but I would think vouchers are pretty standard throughout the airline industry. After you buy your tickets keep watching the fare for your same flights. If the fare goes down (not a promotional rate) call the airlines and get a voucher for the difference for each ticket purchased. The vouchers on NWA are good for one year on future travel.

Whenever the price drops for the same exact flight, they will issue you a "Miscellaneous Charge Order (MCO)". You can use it as a credit towards your next flight!
