We're in.......

This will be daughter Jamie's high school graduation present! We are doing back to back and will be on the repositioning from Barcelona to Dover also on June 5th. Hopefully (cross our fingers) Jamie's graduation will be June 2nd so we can fly out on the 3rd to get to Barcelona on the 4th with one day to spare!

YAY!!!! It would not be a cruise without Linda aboard!!

If anyone who has a cat 10, for 2 adults, booked it this morning would they mind telling me the price? As I have said my TA has messed everything up!

For 2 adults - Cat 10 - no transfers, no air no insurance - $7955

Debbie

Yep, our neighbors, Fran and Gene will be doing this one also, but they never post. I'm sure you remember them....we shared that infamous cab ride together. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yes, I thought the FL address was something new.......you were from the San Diego area when we did Cruistoberfest, right?

Yep we moved from San Diego to Jacksonville the beginning of August.

I remember Fran and Gene - and I still use the van tale to warn people:thumbsup2

Hi everyone!

I posted a while ago that we were hoping to get on this cruise, but haven't posted since, because I didn't know if we would get on the boat (or afford to get on the boat!)

BUt, after 3 hours online, then an email from our TA (not DU, but got us a $600 shipboard credit!) we are cruising the Baltics with you all!!

I am Jen, my husband is Ron, and my 2 DDs are Lindsey (will be 8 during the cruise) and Sydney (will be 5 during the cruise)

We got a porthole room, currently 5014, but may get changed to a non-adjoining/connecting room (which is what we have right now)

Looking forward to getting to know you all, and becoming broke in the process! :rotfl:

I am so happy to see some old friends and looking forward to some new ones!

Was playing around tonight and started a simple web page to keep track of all of our cruise friends. I am willing to keep the list. Right now it is a simple list of a few folks.

As we plan and go forward I will add other things. I am not a web designer by any stretch of the imagination! But I try and if someone else wants to take it on that is fine too :)

Here is the page: http://www.wideopenwest.com/~epcotkilterfan//MagicalBaltic/MagicalBalticCruise.htm

And I have created an email address: magicalbalticcruise@yahoo.com If you would like to be added to the page please send me an email. I will try my hardest to keep up with what is on the boards, but to ensure listing please email me. :surfweb:

Can't wait to start the planning!

Debbie

Any fellow Scrapbooker's out there?

On the Eastbound Repo twenty of us got together and swapped kits. We each created a kit for all the participents. We each chose a different page to create the kit for, and included the contents for our page. The kits were varied, depending on the skill of the scrapper. It was a lot of fun and got some exciting page ideas.

I'm a beginner scrapper, and found this so helpful! I would love to do this again, and wouldn't mind making this my contribution to the group. We could do the swap on a sea day!

Let me know what everyone thinks?

Jeanne-Hi! good to see you!
Mj_swapper here! Did you post photos on the swapping sight? I may have seen them. But I'm in!
Gydell- heres our info Chris, Rita, Eric 16 on cruise and Lauren 13 on cruise.

And Im sorry to the other person who is going to start a page, I cant remember your name but will be sending info.

Karen-love the "Tsars, etc" esp w/Mic added in!

Im putting faith, trust and pixie dust in DCL that they will give us a good room. At least we got the cat we wanted.

And to everyone else having difficulties,
sending you all Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust!
:hippie:

Hi Laura - which cruise are you planning to do?

Hey Lisa - Congrats on getting on - I am "Booked" for 2 right now- the 7/6/10 (Sailing with some dear friends) and then the Birthday/Anniversary cruise on 7/18. I :lovestruc to sail on my birthday. I wanted to do the WB Repo back and have booked it but unless this economy gets better - I will have to give up one cruise. May look like the 7/6 one but who knows - we have about 18+ months to play around with this.

I wish all of you pixiedust: and hope you all got what you wanted or that things will work out for you all. I have not even looked at the pages on our thread but I know we are not moving as fast as this one. :)

Congrats everyone and can I assume that someone on this cruise will be blogging? If you do - can you please let our thread - either 7/6 or 7/18 know? We will anxiously be following your every word.

Take care - we are all in for the adventure of a lifetime! :tink:

Hi MJgirl, I am a scrapper and would love to join in. :thumbsup2

Just got my DU quote with a listed cabin number, can I transfer from DCL and keep the cabin number or do I have to cancel and rebook?

Claire ;)

Claire that's great news. I think I would cancel DCL and rebook with DU. What room number did you get?

I think you have to call or write to DCL. It maybe easier to get through today. :thumbsup2 (BTW - it took me an hour to find the tel no as you can't call the 800 no from the UK!) It's 001 407 566 7000. :goodvibes

:happytv: We're going on the Baltic also on the first voyage and can't wait....ohhh.....it will be truly magical.:dance3: :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1  :cheer2:

Woke up to my quote this morning. Room 6116. I had requested starboard, but apparently they went/were going quickly. I'm not bothered about that as you sail both directions anyway, but I know someone mentioned about starboard earlier.

All John said was 'that's expensive'. We wait and see.:confused3

I had an email from my DU 'guide' and I have replied to accept their quote, so hopefully the deposit can be moved and the DCL booking cancelled.

Claire ;)

Awesome idea - I'm in!!!

I love the idea of scrapbooking swap. I'm more of a scrapbooker "wanna-be". I've only managed to make a few pages but I certainly love to BUY scrapbooking stuff! :rotfl: We recently went on a cruise with another line and they have a scrapbooking class. They handed out everything you needed to make for one scrapbooking page - including a cruise ship, luggage, the cruise line logo, etc. I wish Disney would do something similar.

I hope that everyone else dealing with TA issues, waitlists, etc. gets their hearts desire! :wizard:

Debbie - thanks for the web page!

Sue

Gydell, we are going to pay the deposit tonight, so please add us. Marilyn & John. John will have a birthday on 20th June!!!
