Good Morning Cruisers!

Yes, I get another day of reprieve before full time work. The dogs were good yesterday, no big holes in the back yard, no trees chewed!

Today will be cold, high in low 30's and chance of snow! I need to get dogs out for their walk early before it gets ugly!

My puppy is going wild! The cable man is here and Cody doesn't understand why he's not playing with him. We gave Cody a bone and put him in our bd but he's just crying away. Hope this doesn't take too long.

Mine is downstairs in his kennel since it's raining and we're also having satellite work done this afternoon, so we can't have him out while he's there.

Hi everyone ... All this talk about hotels, I thought I would post this photo. This is the Renaissance Hotel in London. The first is our room and the second is from the courtyard. The hotel was very nice!

I hate doing this, but we canceled the Baltic cruise. I found out that I wasn't going to be able to take vacation that month. So we ended up changing to a Med cruise on August 28th. One good thing did come of it. Since the Med cruise is fewer DVC points, we are able to add a 3 night stay at the Disneyland Hotel in DLP and still have a few points left. I'm sure going to miss everyone. But I think that I am going to enjoy the warmer weather on the Med cruise.

I hate that you had to cancel, but you'll love the Med cruise. I heard they were awesome, plus you get to go to DLP, can't beat that.

Gydell, did you get any snow? We got a dusting (in March), looks like it's starting to melt already though. I have pics, but I can't find my camera cable right now to upload them.

The comments about needing to use your key to turn on power to the room brought back a funny memory from when we took the Disney Med cruise. We arrived a day early, and when we got up to our room, we were clueless about the power. Someone kindly showed us how we needed to insert the key to turn on power.

Later in the day, DW, DD and I decide to go explore Barcelona, but DS wants to stay behind. I take out my key, and power remains on, so we assume the key is just a daily thing. A few minutes after we leave, the power goes off to the room and DS is left stuck in the dark. He didn't think to call the desk, but instead just went with it. He did tell us that the light from his Nintendo DS came in handy when he tried to find his way in the bathroom.

So sorry to hear you have cancelled this cruise Eva, but I am glad you are still able to go on one. I am sure the Med will be fab.

Things have been a bit busy around here. My dad is in a skilled nursing unit (rehab) and trying to get him stronger. Then mom had stomach flu then I got it. Hopefully things will get back to "normal" and we can plan for this cruise!

Oh, Eva!!! That's such a shame!!! We're both really sorry we're not all going to meet up again. But that's life - the way the world of work is at the moment nothing is cast in stone. I will definitely keep you up-to-date with any future plans... Maybe we could meet up in Paris at the end of your trip???
