Northeast get ready for old man winter.

So far we have had a mild winter with warmer than normal temps. That is about to change this week for folks in the North East. We will go from temps in the low 70's to high 60't to temps in the low 30's. Time to get out those winter coats, Looks like the party is over...

I had a winter coat in the car for the last couple of months, but haven't needed it. I'm not even sure where it is now.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!!!!! It's about time we see some winter weather. My co-workers think I am crazy, but I want to go sledding, build Frosty, wear my new gloves, hats, scarves, winter clothes!!!! I even - you can shudder at the thought of it - enjoy shoveling (great exercise)!!!LOL!! Bring it on Mother Nature!!!

I looked on accu-weather's web site last week at the 15 day forcast for my area. This week is the first week that is actually going to be more seasonal.

Maybe that will help me out. Because of the warmer temps my allergies flared up and now I have a cold and upper respitory. The upper respitory usually means I lose my voice which is not good because I'm a receptionist.

I'm not thrilled about winter finally showing up. I would have been around the holidays, but now that they're over, I like the idea of not driving on a sheet of ice.

I'm just hoping that things go well for my DD so I can leave for Florida on January 30th - with my new "return" date being March 7th.. I just don't deal with the cold very well anymore..

I want winter badly, but I want the snow aspect of winter not this ice garbage that we're supposed to get tomorrow. I'm sick of this warm weather. My allergies have been AWFUL, which is not normal this time of year. I want to go cross country skiing too.

I'm in Arizona (used to live in the Northeast). It isn't much warmer here. We hit high 20's last night and it was pretty chilly during the day.

Looking forward to it so I can wear my wool sweater dh got me for CHristmas! I'm hoping this abnormal warmth now means a cooler than normal summer, but I know I'm just dreaming!
