The flu lthis year has been brutal . It happens especially with travellers. I worked at a hotel a good while and the sickest people were always those who were traveling each week. Add in the sheer numbers of people and there will be illness, its just a sheer numbers game.

While you can do the best to protect yourself I would stay away from words like outbreak ;no need to cause unnecessary panic or false information.
Even with all the disinfectant in the world, you could still get sick.

Sorry you aren't feeling well and hope thibgs get better, recently around here people I know have been down for 2-5 days at a time unfortunately its just everywhere. Rest is probably the best thing

I posted this last May for our WDW trip. Not sure if Staples still carries these wipes, but at the time, they were only ones I could find that were cdc approved to kill Norovirus. Clorox wipes don't contain bleach nor do most wipes so they don't kill. Norovirus.

Besides bleach, there are not a lot of products you can buy at the grocery store that kill it. Your best and most effective protection is handwashing and never ever putting anything in your mouth (like pens, fingers, etc). Use alcohol sanitizer with a high alcohol content (it should burn like the dickens) and something I have not heard before but will be trying? Drink 100% grape or cranberry juice to make an inhospitable environment for the bugs in your digestive tract. Cleaning surfaces does nothing unless you are going to be holed up in your room all week.

OP I am so sorry you are sick. I am a little over a week away from our vacation and am also sick. It is terrible! Stay hydrated, and feel better soon.

Sorry you are sick, lets be honest the airports, airplane and disneyland and hotels are all germ fests. I don't necessarily think cleaning the hotel room and bagging the remote are going to protect you from everything.But hey to each their own.We were the victim of the cole slaw in the WOC picnic so stay clear of that.Wife ate all of ours and she was sicker than a dog for a couple of days.Fortunately we had sprung for the suite with a view of the fireworks.We took a couple of days off and then regrouped.Put it all in perspective here it could be worse.Maybe you can enjoy some hot tub time or a movie at down town disney or even in the room.

My son works in the park and he wanted to spend fathers day hanging around the pool because he was tired from work.so we chilled and had a memorable family day together.We went to eat in the evening and just hung out.Sometimes you just have to make lemonaide from lemons.
