Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oo

If you wear a 38 waist you shouldn t have much problem with anything i wouldn t think.I had problems with several rides but I wear a 46 waist.

From reading the posts, yes people did get out of the ride on a regular basis. I heard that theyd jump out while on the lifthills cuz theyd get scared, or trying to be "cool" and getting out while the log is floating through slower sections.

The Team Members watching the camera of course have to hit an estop, which causes huge downtimes, and inconveniences 40+ other logs on the ride.

The best part? The people who get out get kicked out of the park for the day. They're banned from Islands, not sure about the Studios.

Jurassic Park has had lapbars since the beginning. Yet on rare occasions, people got out of that ride too. People are reallly really stupid. It amazes me how stupid people are.

It's a moving ride vehicle, with lapbars keeping you in place. You would think the normal brain would think "wow, I shouldn't get out, I might get hurt."

:confused3 really???? FIRST time I rode it, put both my arms up....after taking a picture cresting the hill :thumbsup2

Have I mentioned what could be considered one of the scariest/most "WTH were they smoking?" moments during 1999--the majority of my JP tenure? I don't recall if I did or not, so here goes:

I'm in the control booth, watching the screens and monitoring the ride. All seems to be going well. I notice that the boat at the top of lift 3/spillway (just before the T-rex and the drop) came to an unexpected stop. "Lift 3 stop" I say, a split second before the alarm registers at the dispatch console. The TM at the dispatch console sees the alarm and says "worse, e-stop." The TM up there called down to the control booth and let us know, and we had to let the lead know, what happened. There were two guys (teens, iirc) that were sitting on the back of the seats in the back row. She (the TM at the top) hit e-stop because she saw how they were sitting and realized that if they went over the lift, they probably would have died. The two were ejected from the park, and the ride did have a substantial (30 min+-) down time.

To better understand how they were seated, look at this pic of the JP boat:

The two guys had their butts on top of the seat, backs against the green backing. What possessed them to do such a thing, I'll never know. Andyes, I did catch an occasional person trying to do a similar stunt. I lift stopped the ride before the boat got close, got on the loudspeaker (there is on up there) and the people QUICKLY sat down.

Seriously.

whadda mean "seriously" :confused3 Are you asking if i was serious? If you are...then yes, I was. I will dig the picture I took out of the scrapbook and post it ... if you want/don't believe me??? ;)

No, I believe you. I was saying "Serious" about me not putting my hands up on Ripsaw. Ever.

Well Barb, in Dark's defense, you've never posted your age on here :lmao:
(not that I'm aware of anyway)
Mike....Barb is old enough to know better and young enough not to care....just like me! :thumbsup2

Thanks guys..... let's just say I am older than I look, and if I go by "looks", I believe I am older than he......(DM you look so young ;) )
