Nook/refurbished on Overstock $86

My order status now says processing for the Nook.

I had ordered a refurbished Nook off of B/N a couple days ago and just got an email last night that the order had been canceled! I'm so bummed! Didn't give an explanation. . .just said that it had been canceled and my credit card would not be charged for this order! It was going to be a Christmas gift! If anyone else finds another deal, let us know! Maybe they will show up again??

I got the same e-mail this morning. I'm going to have to keep trying. But if I don't get it for Christmas I might get it for him for his birthday and use the GC to buy books for my Nook.

Anyone receive shipping confirmation yet? My other item (protective sleeve for the Nook) has shipped, but the Nook says pending shipment.

I got the same email today from overstock. Filler item shipped, Nook is pending shipment.

Placed an order on 11/25, Nook shipped by UPS on 11/26, and filler item shipped yesterday 11/27.
Hope everyone receives theirs.

I ordered on the 25th, early in the day. Filler item shipped the 27th. Nook is still showing as "Processing". Now I'm worried we will end up getting cancelled. Ugh!

i have the same fear. doesn't look good. i ordered just before lunch on friday, the 26th.

Well....here's an interesting wrinkle in the whole cancelled order thing. The second e-bates refund posted to my account tonight. I wonder if they'll reverse the e-bate.

Same here. Still shows as "Processing" today so maybe it'll ship soon.

i ordered a nook from buy.com for $99, in case my overstock.com order is cancelled. if not, DD and i will BOTH get one for Christmas.

I looked at my credit card and it shows I was charged for entire purchase.

I ordered this from Overstock.com first thing Friday morning ( I was working in the ER ) at 0700. My cc has been charged. On Saturday another friend at work heard me talking about the deal and she ordered one then.

So, they were still selling these 24 hours AFTER I paid for mine. Now, I'm still "processing" and the rep at Overstock said it's up in the air if I'll actually get my order or not.

Add that to the fact that I had already bought a Nook for my dad and returned it after getting this deal. It was the last Nook at our B&N.

I will never buy from Overstock.com again.

My card's been charged. I placed my order on the 25th. The timestamp on the confirmation email states 12:57pm. The "extra" that I bought with it to get it over $100 resulted in a shipping notice on the 27th. The charge on my card for the full amount shows that it was submitted to my credit card on the 27th. On the overstock website it shows the overall shipping status as shipped, but when I go into order details it still shows that the nook itself is processing. It'll be interesting to see what happens if they cancel the nook. I didn't want the other item without the nook but meanwhile it's on its way already.

I called B&N. The one I returned was still behind the counter and they're holding it for me to come back and pick it up. I'll pay more, but you know what they say about the bird in the hand.....

BTW, I did check Buy.com after having my rather unpleasant conversation with the Overstock operator. Right now, they're sold out again..

This is really weird because they (overstock.com) had them available again on 11/26.
