Bummer. This thread has lost all its humor.
Murder?!!! Now who's stirring the pot? Leaving the scene of an accident is wrong of course but no more murderous than someone out hunting mistaking a lawyer for a quail. That's just plain ridiculous.TCPluto said:Just trying to help you out. Please, continue on if you see fit.
Sorry, no statue of limitations on murder. You don't have to be from the left or the right to see that he has never answered for his actions.
The VP's incident was news, absolutely. For about two minutes, with another two minutes when the victim left the hospital. White house press corp has made it much more as payback for shutting them out of the initial reporting.
I would love to be able to be an isolationist. Let's get out of every foreign country, with all humanitarian and military aid, including the middle east. The money and resources can be much better spent here in the US.
It's just not possible however. It's the price we pay for being the world power that we are.

richiebaseball said:Remind us again, how many deferments did Howard Dean receive?
LakeAriel said:OMG stick to the facts Dean is neither pres or VP neither is Kennedy, Clinton or Kerry!

As for what Clinton, Kennedy and Dean have to do with this, still nothing in spite of what nonsense was posted earlier. It's just the Rights favorite hobby, when the questioning gets tough change the subject.

Iran is building nuclear weapons - what is our administration doing about that? What about the Saudis who had their hands in 9/11. I agree with Donald Trump who said, "What would Saudi Arabia be if we pulled our oil interests out of there." In 24/7 they'd be a big pile of sand. The Iraqis are the least of our problems.
The DUI was responsible for the "blond in the pond". Maybe it wouldn't have happened if Teddy wasn't drunk. It wasn't just leaving the scene of an accident. It was causing the accident and failure to obtain help that may have saved her life. Negligent homocide perhaps?Planogirl said:Murder?!!! Now who's stirring the pot? I don't like sanctions, it punishes people, not nations. Diplomatic would be the best solution - but is anybody willing to sit down and talk? Probably not.

OMG do you know the difference between these two words and CURRENT VP?
richiebaseball said:And the only reason Howard Dean was mentioned was in response to the idiotic reference to Cheney and deferments. OMG, like, what do deferments have to do with Cheney and a hunting accident.
